Last night Rusty hunted like the big dogs. Left out hunting opened on trail and stood and treed with all the other dogs. He even found the right end of the trail and brought the old dogs back around. We treed three but never could find them stayed out till three trying to get one on the ground for him. Can't be nothing but good from here on out.

It never seems to fail-when you really want the ideal situation to happen for a young dog the more that situation wants to evade you. Hang in there Clayton after that many leafy trees the odds should be in Rustys favor now. Good luck.

everytime i leave him at daddy's out running loose for a week he makes a big gain. He has started treeing squirrels too not just by sight but trailing them up and sticking on the tree
