It is nice to have something that you like so well if they never got long in the tooth. I have been blessed with some good dogs that have done great for me.

Did many of the old dogs back in the day have kind of a shaggy coat,I got a young dog that looks like you sheared a sheep in his pen, just curious how many were kind of long haired?

Rob, many of these Kemmer dogs are heavy or double coated. My old Turbo dog was heavy coated. My Tycoon pup is shedding right now for his summer coat. He is heavy coated.

The Hybrid pup I have now is 5/8 Kemmer and he is also heavy coated.

Not unusual at all!

Kenny, my fovorite old dogs were Thompson's Bell out of Old Trouble and Yucatan's Miss Nugget. She was a coon dog and sq dog delux with the best ringing chop mouth I have ever heard. Her sons Turbo and Hank had big booming mouths but when they were tree with Bell you would think Bell was split tree 100yards closer.

I like the open trailing, big mouth and bigger type Kemmer dogs with that outstanding winding ability.

We have different Kemmer bloodlines that can all get the job done in their own style. That is what is so great about these dogs.

I like the yellow bob stuff that I've hunted with for size and booming mouth. Jamie's Strut dog adds size and mouth that I really enjoy. I really like the Target blood for drive and track. Blondie IV works great too
