Thats the reason I asked because I thought he was around 60 lbs. or so. Ole Turbo sure knew how to hog a tree. Dogs that you hunt today sure have their work cut out for them trying to measure up on the measureing stick that Turbo left behind for them..............Big Ronnie
Ronnie, I have to disagree with you on this one.

Turbo was an outstanding Kemmer dog not because he had more natural ability than the dogs I have today. The difference with Turbo was that he got hunted every night of his life starting at 4 mos old. At 13 mos old he made NKC Nt Ch and was a GrNt at 22 mos old plus many more titles. He made a squirrel and coon dog after all the 'hardward hunging'!

Duke, Jack and TyCoon have as much or more ability as ole Turbo, probably more! But they will never get hunted 'one on one' 7 nights a week and several times a week during the daylight. These Kemmer dogs, because of their natural ability, make good working dogs with very little exposure. But when you get the maximum out of one and develope his full potential, they are truly amazing animals with game finding ability second to no other dog!!

I know what kind of pup it takes to make a top dog and I try to work with those type pups, but I doubt I will ever be as mad at a coon as I once was!! :$

Charles I understand completely. When a man has a dog and they both hunt everynight together they get to know each other better and better and both have that speacial bond with each other that brings out the best in both the dog and the man too and thats the most important part that it takes to make the best...........Big Ronnie
