Wanted to share a couple pics of the fishing trip I made this morning. We caught a few Cypress Trout in the swamp waters, I think were going to have a harsh winter again this year, so I'am going to try and fill up the deep freezer, with fishballs and gravy! Thanks for veiwing.........

Thomas, I will tell you like I told Skipper when he posted that skinned rattlesnake, I will buy you a pack of hot dog weiners if you get hungry! :'(

I will say that I fileted half of one of those ugly things once and fried it with the bass we had caught. I went back in the garbage and got the other half!! :D

Sure taste a lot better than they look!!

Grinnel, choupique, cypress trout, black fish, cotton fish and my grandmother used them to fertilize fruit trees. All the same thing. Fun to catch on light tackle.

Us po-folks ain't real sure what rainbow trout taste like Mr, Wayne! LOL..... I mix onions, bellpepper, blackpepper, salt, and then roll it up like a meatball, then deep fat fry all the balls in hog-lard, til they turn golden brown.... Then I make a real dark roux (Gravy) and put all of the choupiqe balls in the pot along with some secret ingredients ( top secret) and let that slow cook for a couple hours....Then you pour that over some hot rice with a big glass of sweet tea... :D
