Planting Rye Grass time

Its really dryed up and the weatherman says its gonna rain tomorrow I hope hes right cause I damn near tore up my tractor and disc on this hard grown today and planted rye grass for when the horse gets here next month.

Been thinking about getting the ground ready here but its too dry. Put in a few posts yesterday and it was like dust all the way to the bottom of the holes. It finally rained some today, about a half inch and it has sprinkled some since then. Thankful for any little bit though. Looks like you have everything but the horse, right down to the wheelbar to clean the stalls.

you live where burmuda does great and you cant beat it as summer pasture.i got rye now but spring i plan on doing burmuda here and top seed rye in the fall.

We've had a light rain today so far but I will need a little more than that to do a good job on the rye grass.
Mr Will I planted common bermuda on my yard and have a great stand I plan on putting it out on the horse pasture in the early spring also.

We got a good rain later today hopefully it will be enough to get started because the weatherman says after this front comes through we will not have rain for 7 days.

Calvin you have got it looking good. We didn't get a drop of rain here but it rained up to 2 inchs 15 miles down the road. Laree has to straighten up or we might not get no rain :'( ..........Big Ronnie
