Every year about this time my wifes folks come down for a little Christmas get together. I fix um' up with a chicken a sausage gumbo. See, my wife she ain't no coonazz, she's from Texas, I converted her over into one though, over the last 17 years. I was thinking once all of um's belly get full and they go to takeing naps around here, I might slip out and go see if I can't go pop me an ole nanny goat tween the ears, fur some sausage :D . My grandmaw (80 years young) who has taught me how to make gumbo, she got her a bowl to sample out. :D . Thanks for viewing....

That sure looks good.

My son's birthday is Monday, but we're having his party today, and he wanted gumbo for him and his friends. I learned how to make it from Calvin, and it is on the stove now.

Haven't made it for a couple of months, so it's about time. Supposed to be snow coming in tonight and tomorrow, along with temperatures down in the teens, so a pot of hot gumbo just seems right.
I hunt the "PURE" KEMMER MEAT DOGS.
No byproducts!!!!
