Tom Perkins from northeast PA sent me these pictures, not many in this area come much larger. Nice looking Kemmer female that Tom bought from Wintford, he hopes that she turns onto these PA cats.

Good looking pictures, and a huge cat.

Dave, is that female out of the old Daisy female and the Bob male?

Hey Dave,
Thanks for posting those pictures for me. Thanks for the compliments, guys. There isn't much to do here this time of year, so I figure we might as well keep after them.
We got some new snow here last night. At first light this morning we found a really fresh track. I dumped the pup onto it, and she got him jumped from an old grown up christmas tree patch. The cat bailed out past my shooter who didn't see him till he was pretty much in the next county. We chased him probably about a mile until he got into a 10 ac. logged over area. He circled at least 3 times in there. At one point he moved past my shooter at about 75 yds, again no shots. This cat actually ran in my tracks from a previous loop. We finally lost him when the snow was totally trampled, and the pup was about to go crazy. Mon. we'll be back after him. If he pulls that again, he might be riding home on the back of the Ranger. This Addie pup that I got from Wintford is only 8 months old, and only has me for a trainer. I think a year from now she'll be a real firecracker.

Tom, that's a nice looking Kemmer and a good cat. We've got plenty of cats down here and plenty of cutovers to run them in. I've got 4 litter mate curs that I plan on getting started soon on these cats. They're about 65% Kemmer and tough as nails. I just hope my plans work right. Good luck with the cat running. If you want some good information from a master cat hunter, call Robert Kemmer and get the low down on cat running. I did and he gave me a lot of good info. Really helped me out on getting the dogs started.

Rob, When we lived in Salem, NY and hunted in Vermont we ran quite a few bobcat, always on snow, walked a GREEN dog on the track until it really wanted it then cut it loose. I would have no idea how to start a pup in your country unless I could live-trap a cat and get a pup started that way.
