Thank you to Calvin and his family for allowing us to meet at his house last night for some good fellowship and some good food to boot! ;)
I finally got to meet Charles in person as well as Jimmino Thompson. It was a pleasure to meet with everyone and talk about these great Kemmer dogs. And the cajun jokes thrown in were an added bonus! :D

It was a long day, left my house at 0930, got to Calvins at 1630, left there around 1900 and pulled into my drive way about 0215 this morning. That's 7 hours each way, stopping for gas and to potty. But it was worth it.....
Calvin, once again, thank you for your hospitality and the awesome gumbo! You have a beautiful home and a wonderful family. You are a blessed man my friend.
Charles, it was great to meet you finally and thanks again for all that you do, not only for me, but for everyone in the KSBA.
Tell Jimmino it was an honor and a pleasure to meet him as well, a true southern gentleman.

Dee I enjoyed the visit and am glad you liked the Gumbo. Maybe some day we will be able to visit longer and hunt together. Thanks for bringing Rose I will be getting her in the woods in the next day or so.

If you noticed in the picture I had to sit down so that I wouldn't block Dee and Charles head.... ;)

Dee, I should have brought that fine pup home. Sorry the guy did not get back in touch with you! He may have just stayed in Angie! Brindle Jack/Lady Nugget over double Target breeding from two hog dog parents is good stuff. I probably would have made a sq dog out of him! :P Jimmino really liked that pup! That says something!!

I know, I should have sent him home with you. The guy still hasn't called me back, guess he's still chasing his bull! :D Inside joke. The man swore he wanted this pup. He lives almost 3 hours away from me and I told him I could get the dog closer, it would have been an hour drive instead, but then calls me to tell me he can't meet me because one of his bulls got out and was in another mans pasture. Okay? I'm thinking, he could get up and be after that bull at daybreak and still meet me at the appointed time of 11 AM on the highway? I've called him 4 times and have gotten no response. I was even willing to meet him on my way back home, but he still hasn't called?
So, instead of Charles getting it back east where it would be in more of a demand, I brought him home with me, figuring I'd receive a phone call today from the man. NOTHING........... ^o)

Anybody want a pup> :P
