I looked back at your old post with the mare in it and she looks to be "fuller" in the recent picture.

I raised walking horses for twenty plus years and had them drop foals the night i got off there back.( Didnt even know they were bred) There bag won't always show if it does sometimes it is just a day are two before and some didn't drop untll the baby was born. I found the best way to find out if they're bred is to bring them to the vet and have them palpated after three months or so of breeding. If she drops a foal the best time to breed them back is nine days after she foals they seem to take with just one breeding. If there is any questions give me a call i still have a couple of good blooded paint studs that I will breed for one of them hybrid pups, just kidding if i can help let me know.

I would say she probably is in foal. But older mares that have had several foals it is more difficult to tell since they often have extended stomachs. Vets can ultra sound if you want to spend the dough.

Press on her left side and see if you can feel the foal. Some times you can feel the colt in the late stage, if you bump her hard in the left flank. If she has had several colts. her milk may not drop to the night before or when she foals. Good luck, Gene.

hard to tell from side view. Looking from rear her belly will be bell shaped. she should start sinking in on her hi-hips on either side of the root of her tail. under her belly the veins going to her udder will be extended. Hope you have good luck with her and the colt.

This is a picture at about 2 1/2 weeks before foaling if she goes 11 months. I can't wait.
