Well there is a new member to the Taylor family. Ronnie has been talking to Myron Miller from Goshen,Ind. about getting a brindle female he had up there ( Ward's Tn Buck x Herring's Sassy)This make her B.J. Buck top and bottom.
You guessed it Machelle and I left this past Thrusday night at Midnight and was sitting in Myron drive way at 3:00 pm Friday afternoon. As most of you know Myron is Amish so it was a real treat for us to see that part of the country and way of life. I met his parents looked at his horses and talked dogs over all a great visit.
We left there headed for Williamsport, Tn to Mr. Kenneth Smiths house for a short visit with him and his wife. He showed us around the farm and fixed us some down right good grilled hamburgers and ice tea. Thank You Kenneth. From there we went to Mr.Kenneth Ward's house to drop of two dogs to him. That was another refreshing short visit. From there we headed home. Machelle pulled in our drive way at 1:00 am Sunday morning in total we traveled 1900 miles. WOW what a trip. By the way Machelle Graduated Thrusday night at 7:00 pm from Rayville High School.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Laree T
P.S. Will post pics of the new female tomorrow.

Congradulations to the graduate!! Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. I used to know of a couple of nationally know Guernsey breeders from Indiana. One mans name was Earl Weaver from Goshen & the other man I can't remember right now but I do recall that he was Menonite. Did you happen to see any Guernsey herds while you were in that area? Again Congrats to Machelle.
