Ricky and I tried some snapper fishing at the short rigs and caught nice snapper until we had to quite. I was burned out!!! :)

Had a whole lot of break offs. These things will jerk your arm out of socket trying to get back under the rigs and will cut you off when they do! Here is a short video of Rick loosing one!

Thats some big Snapper Charles. I had my fill of the gulf from 25yrs working offshore.We caught tons of snapper from the platforms at this stage of my life I rather enjoy your pics from my easy chair... ;)

Tom, I had the best fish I ever ate last night!!!! :) It was Red Snapper!

I mixed half Italian bread crumbs and half Parmesan cheese with some salt and Tony's creole season to taste. I put the filets in a bowl and dashed with La hot sauce and Tonys and let that set for a couple of minutes. Then battered the fish in the bread crumbs/parmesan mixture and pan fried in slated sweet butter.

IT WAS GREAT! especially with some fresh creole tomatos!!!
