Tim, I just bought lasergrips for my Ruger MarkIII 22/45. Crimsontrace does not make them for the 22/45 . I called them because I heard they made them for the Mark II and III. And they said they do for the Hunter and slabside MarkII and III But, Will not fit Hunter MarkIII 22/45. Due to the angle of the grip. I found mine on EBAY, made by Gripmaster. They look and are made just like Crimsons. With the polymer frame they fit just about perfect and will sight in perfect. There is a little slight gap right were the batteries go. S0 I made a little gasket and they fit perfect. They are on auction anywhere from 80.00 to 169.00.The man I bought mine from goes by 1911 Grips. His name is Tom and heres his number if you want it. 818-813-9282. Hope this helps, Bill. It has to also be the 22/45 with removeable panels. Some of 22/45 have molded on grips.

Here is a picture of the grips I put on mine. He has differant colors. The guy even let me try them to see if they would fit and zero in correctly. They work great at night. But in the daylight it cuts back on your distance. But you can still use your open sights. He used these pictures in his add on ebay. I have since then added a small red green dot scope also. You would think I just couldn't miss. But as shakey as I am I still do . Just not quite as much lol. Bill

Tim the only differance I see from your picture and mine is yours has the slab side and mine has the fluted barrel. Mine has the 5 1/2 inch barrel. They are real tack drivers. Best pistol I have ever owned. Bill

I really don't know. But crimsontrace does. Yours has the original metal ruger frame. The 22/45 has the angle of the old Army colt 45's. You have to measure the hole centers on the grip screws. The ones on the Mark II an III are about 2 an 3/4 inch. And the ones on the 22/45 are 3an1/16 inch apart. |
