My screw holes have stripped out and my base keeps getting loose. Think im gonna fill screw holes with epoxy and then put inn screws to see if it will hold. Anybody else got any ideas.

If it were mine, I would drill and tap the next size bigger hole. Might have to drill a bit bigger clearance hole in the base.

Brownell's have oversize 6X48 screws and an oversize tap to match for just such repairs. Screws are slightly larger than a #6 screw and all you have to do is run the tap in the stripped out hole making new threads.

They would probably be on the long side so you could shorten them to the length you need.
Here are their contact numbers: Ordering: 800-741-0015
Technical Support: 800-741-0015
Their technical support fellas are very knowledgeable, just call them and tell them what you need, they'll fix you up.
