Sunday Ronnie,Machelle,Bodine and my self were trying to get the trucks ready for them to leave out later that afternoon. Bodine found a U jiont out on his truck while greasing it. So Machelle and I took off to find one. When we got back Ronnie and Bodine wern't here. They had run to Simmon's to get Bodine a new gun. They showed up shortly after us and while we were looking at Bodines new gun and Ronnie was telling me about his new gun he put on lay away( I will let him tell you what it is)I asked him did you look for me a shot gun. I have always shot a hand me down shot gun and have been wanting to get me a new squirrel gun. Ronnie asked me to get a jug of desiel out of the back of his pickup. WOW!!! What a surprise I found Laying on the tail gate of Ronnie's pickup was a Brand New Rammington 3in 20 mag pump shot gun. Just what I was wanting and in time for squirrel season. What a Man. Ronnie Thank You I LOVE MY NEW GUN!!!!>>>>>Laree

Can't beat a Remington 870, best gun for the money that you can get...and you can shoot the regular hi-brass 2 3/4" loads in it for squirrels, and move up to 3" for turkeys....870s are slick and indestructable and absolutely reliable.

I guess I'm getting soft in my old age. I have saw Laree hunt with everything from a 16 ga. up to my 3 1/2 in mag. 870 and she never complained (TOO MUCH)). It was about time for her to get her own new gun. These 20 ga. 870's are light and easy to carry and it will last her from now on. Besides I had to do something to keep her off of me when she found out I had bought me another gun............Big Ronnie

Now the rest of the story. I was at our big sporting good store and found this 300 weatherby accurmark with the stainless fluted barrel. I knew it was out of my league but I asked Mr. Simmons anyway just how much it would take to carry it home. He figured a few minutes and gave me a figure that I just couldn't turn down even though I knew Laree was going to be a UNHAPPY CAMPER when she found out I had bought another gun. I had just gotten my old 300 back from these same people just weeks ago from doing some trigger work and things to it. I knew I had to pull a rabbit out of my hat this week somehow to make this happen. Me and Bodine left home sunday night and loaded monday morning in south Ark.. We turned 10 trips from southern Ark to Cushing Okla. from monday to friday evening. We didn't get much rest but all the bills got paid, the dog feed got bought, Laree got her weekly run around and gro. money, the shots and wormer was got for the puppys, I have the fuel and expense money for this next week and danged if ther just happened to be enough money left to get my Weatherby with. Me and Bodine looked like two drowned rats when we got home this weekend but we made a plan come together.............Big Ronnie
