This is the my new toy. To be completely comfortable with a gun I like to be 100% satisfied with it from one end to the other. I kept looking at this gun yesterday and I"m just not much on black stocks. I decided that if I was going to ever really like this gun I was going to have to make some color changes in the stock to start off with. It took several hours last night of sanding, primeing, painting and more sanding and painting but I finely got it close to where I want it. At least I like it better now anyway. Checking on a camo kit that comes with 3 different camo colors in it. What do ya'll think about my after hour country boy gun shop work?..............Big Ronnie This was it yesterday evening at dark ![]() ![]() This is this morning after several hours work on it in my country boy gun shop last night ![]()

Now that's what I call minute of elk, or rather minute of gater in your neck of the woods. Very, very nice group. Loads of guys don't realize how quick a barrel can heat up. I hear guys complaining "man I cant get this thing to group". Letting it cool down is usually the trick. BR, you will have to get into reloading when things slow down for you. Remember, those Barnes need a clean barrel, even the triple shocks. I use KG12 with great results. It can be bought on line. Keep up the good shooting. Catfish |
