This is my new rifle. 25-06 with a 3.5-10 44mm Zeiss. Can't wait to shoot it.

Nice rig! That is one solid looking scope mount. A fun caliber to shoot for sure.

That's a DNZ mount. I started using them a few years ago and they are all I buy now. Love them

I had a friend that shot a 25/06, he used 115 gr. Nosler Partitions and shot some smoking good groups. If you don't have a starting point, I think the Nosler 115 would be a good bet. Got any hunts planned for it for that rifle?

Good looking gun. 7 mag will do a job on a deer. Always wanted a 25-06. I still shoot the old 30-06 & 270's.

I'm sure I'll find some critter to shoot. Lol... I shot a 7 mag for several years and liked it. I shot a 270 for a while and liked it too. Right now I like my 7-08 as good as any of them. Was ready to try something else and this seemed to fit what I wanted. Have a 300 wby for long shots where a lot of punch is needed and this seemed to close a gap ballisticly between the 7-08 and the 300 wby.

It's a rem Mtn rifle. Shot a doe with it the other day. Seemed to perform as needed. Lol.

Thomas I have been shooting a Remington model 700 Mnt Riffle chambered for a 280 for years. i love my riffle it only weighs 6 3/4 lbs it will drop anything I want to be shooting at. They had stopped making them for several years. Glad to see they have started back. Mine has a wood stock and a black barrel. Not as fancy as yours. Good luck with it.>>>>>>Laree

Good looking gun Thomas. We have a 25-0-06 in remington 700 that was mommas rifle. It has killed many deer and the 25-0-06 sure is a flat shooting rifle. I have no doubt that you will love the Zeiss scope. Keep us posted on how it does..............Big Ronnie

I had a 300 win mag just like that, only mine had a target barrel and they called it a rem syndero. Hard to beat a rem bolt action rifle
