i don't care for a fox pelt or any other pelt as i don't care to kill a fox. i like to listen to my dogs run them and sometimes i see them as they cross the road. my dogs have just about stopped treeing coons and possums and that's ok with me. i no longer care to shoot coons and possums though my dogs still tree them occasionally. i have a few places where the dogs will chase the same fox everytime i turn out there. for these fox i leave some feed to help keep them around and in good shape. it's only fair considering how much energy they expend to entertain me. anyone heard of kemmer dogs being used to run fox? |

If they think thats what you want then there is no reason why your dogs wont run a fox. Do they ever catch them or does it always end in a hole. |

most times the fox gets so far ahead the dogs lose intereest and this is usually after they've chased the fox a long time or the fox gives them the slip. they have run it to ground a few times. i prefer them to just chase the fox as i don't want the fox to get hurt or have its den damaged. |
