Just found a new web page for holsters,... Garage Works Holsters, in Ohio. I like the looks of some of their stuff. Thinking bout a thigh holster for my Tracker 22 mag.

Holsters are funny things, I usually have to go through 2 or 3 before I find the one that I like the best. Funner even still, are the people that make them. I have found that the best holster makers are kind of kooky. Check out Milt Sparks web site, you might be enlightened as to what I mean. "Simply Rugged" holsters are hard to beat, similar prices to the garage stuff. My favorite has become El Paso Saddlery, they are expensive, but worth it. The old saying "you can pay me now or you can pay me later" really holds true to holsters. Nothing against the Garage Stuff, just throwing about some ideas. Another measure of a good holster is how much do they sell for used. If a holster does not have a reasonable resale value, chances are it's one to shy away from. Good holster hunting to you.

I first used El Paso Saddlery in the early 80's. They are good. I haven't checked them out in awhile. Finding a durable, reliable, comfortable holster that will retain it's function and form for years makes the price worth while.
