Unfortunately, the established DDO folks do not seem to be excited about Druids. There are no formal builds out there. Here is a melee Druid with the idea to maximize natural fighting (double strike).
- Quote:
-
20 druid half-elf (let's max out that sneak attack)
stats (32 pointer): 16 str 10 dex 16 con 8 int 16 wis 8 cha
all lvl ups in wis eat a +3 dex tome as soon as possible for 13 dex (precision and rogue dilly)
feats: 1 - Shield mastery 1 - fighter dilly (switch to rogue after you hit 13 dex from tome) 3 - toughness 6 - maximise 9- natural fighting 12 - improved critical 15- natural fighting 18 - precision 21 - natural fighting 24- improved shield mastery
skills wise, max out concentration, spot and swim (what? doggie paddle is hilarious! alright fine, if you're not amused by the sight of a wolf swimming like a torpedo like I am, go for balance or umd instead)
Destiny: Probably shadowdancer for 6d6 sneak attack and evasion, though it kills me that my instakills DC will be terrible due to low dex and int. Twist Hail of Blows from GmoF.
Potential doublestrike: 18% from natural fighting x3 8% from shield mastery/improved shield mastery 3% from shadowdancer innate Shadow Training 4 3% from Hail of Blows Twist 6% from alchemical shield total 38% passive doublestrike (add another 3 if 3% DS items stack with 6% ones, devs were unclear on that one)
5% from warchanter Inspire Recklessness 5% from alchemical bracers proc 50% from celerity enhancements 98% potential DS (101% if the 3 DS items stack. triplestrike anyone?)
Attack speed Wolf base animation speed is 30% faster then usual animation, so stacks multiplicately with attack speed bonuses with melee alacrity 130 x 1.1 = 143% speed boost total with haste, 130 x 1.15 = 149.5% (round it to 150% total) with fully stacked fatal harrier, 130 x 1.25 = 162.5% total speed boost
Weapon choices for main hand: since you have a huge crit range no matter what the weapon is, stuff that triggers on crits are a must, examples; -items with nightmare on them (procs PK on crit) -items with blast/bursts effects -level draining effects (theres a new dagger in eveningstar that does just the trick, triggers on crit)
