Please read this entire post before claiming!

The map is not entirely open to all; a certain degree of realism is required when making a claim. You do not need to provide a picture of your claim; you may instead describe the area if that is easier for you. Stats are always open for discussion, so please feel free to ask if you have any questions or concerns.

Regional Map

Things to Consider

Please try to make your claim look interesting. Do not claim massive amounts of coastline to force other nations to claim inland areas. Remember that Koholeth is about 3/4 the size of Earth, so claims will naturally be a little smaller.

Remember to keep your nation's culture in mind when choosing a claim. This will not be an incredibly strict rule, but please keep it somewhat realistic; for example, please do not place your Japanese nation in a place that is culturally west African. This rule will not be as strict in regards to your neighbors (your Scottish nation could border a Finnish one), but please keep general cultural ties in mind.

Consider that huge nations tend to have lower GDPs. Conversely, tiny nations generally have higher ones. Keep this in mind when claiming your nation. Large nations will be held to a higher standard than small ones, so please be modest when claiming. Also consider your population density; huge countries with tiny populations probably will not be accepted. Any massive nations with high GDPs and cutting edge militaries will be declined.

As a final rule, have fun with your claim and please ask for help if you need it. Use the following application when posting your claim:

Code:

[b]Nation name:[/b]
[b]Real life culture influence:[/b]
[b]Real life culture of former colonizer (if applicable):[/b]
[b]Population:[/b]
[b]GDP per capita:[/b]
[b]Military manpower (active/reserve):[/b]
[b]Language(s) spoken:[/b]
[b]Link to claim (optional):[/b]
[b]Additional info (optional):[/b]

This thread is only for questions or comments about the mapping process. Please create a separate thread for your claim.
