Basic Yadda Yadda 1) Original Characters Only 2) No using other handler's character's in your RPs. 3) No OOC slurs based on someone's race, sexual orientation, gender, or religion. 4) Have fun. 5) NO Recycling yours or other RPs EVER. You will get banned FOREVER! Okay, now that we have the OBVIOUS ones taken care of lets go into specifics about this company. Fed Specific Rules 1) Usually feds have a strict no complaining or whining rule. My rule is this: PLEASE COME TO ME WITH ANY COMPLAINTS OR CONCERNS. Yes, that is even if it is because you lost a match. You can come to me and you'll twenty minutes to say your peace to me. If you don't have Aim then you have three PMs or e-mails to voice your concern. I will do the best I can to explain my decision; I will NOT overturn it ...but I will give all the information you need to improve and I will listen to your criticisms of how things were judged. 2) Asking for title shots- Again, go ahead and do it. It doesn't mean that you are going to get it ...because I push based on RPs not on people asking me for title shots. But asking me for one doesn't mean I will take one you might due to good RP work down the line. Again, it is one of those things that I will listen to but if you don't are not impressing in the RP category I will give you tips on how to improve to get to that level you want to go to ...NOT a title shot. But it is always good to know what my guys goals are. 3) I am not going to limit you In Character in RPs or segments. You can write about ANYTHING in whatever style you want to write about. You want to write curse laden hardcore porno RP? Sure, go on right ahead. You want to write a poem about shooting heroin? No problem. You want to write a wrestling promo? That is very much encouraged. Again, no limits. But REMEMBER that just because I have no problem with you writing something, it doesn't mean others won't get offended or worse think your in character joke about race or sex is who YOU are and not the character. On the same coin, sometimes using risque or taboo things to an extreme do bring RPs down for judges. Please keep that in mind. The Canon 1) WWE, TNA, ROH, ECW, nor any other real company exists in this world. Now, I will only enforce for this for results and NOT RPs. So if you have a segment mentioning how your character was trained by Jeff Hardy ...I will cut it. However if you have an RP where your character mentions being trained by Jeff Hardy, I won't knock down points or anything. Your RP is your RP. It is just not going to be acknowledged on L7W television. 2) When you sign with us you are starting off at the bottom and working your way unless I tell you otherwise. Again, you want to go on forever about your past feds in your RPs? I don't care and I won't knock you down points or anything. But if you are making your debut with L7W and everyone knows you and are chanting your name, I may have to tone it down depending on the situation. I believe that fan reaction is earned when you are new to a company. 3) Extension of the last rule: if you had success in our canon feds you MAY get pushed as somebody that the audience knows ...but that is up to my discretion and certainly doesn't guarantee main even spots or even mid-card status. It just means you are known. You get title shots and wins based on your RPs not what you did elsewhere. 4) Celebrities exist in this universe and CAN be used in shows. Again, do whatever you want in RPs. Roleplaying Rules 1) One RP minimum and no maximum. 2) No word minimum and no word maximum 3) Quality over Quantity. Your five hundred word shoot promo CAN beat my seven 10k Character development heavy story RP if said shoot is awesome. 4) The one rule I do have is that the RP must somehow tie into the match. The match isn't mentioned at all ...you don't win unless you are up against a no show. 5) There is ONE deadline and it is at 11: 59 p.m every other Friday night for regular shows and at that time Saturday evening for PPVs. 6) There is no limit to how many RPs you post the last day but just know that I KNOW what you are doing and I wasn't born yesterday. Same vein, handlers need to prepare for ANYTHING. Judging Judging will be done by ONLY me starting out. Therefore if you have a question or issue about judging you know exactly who to go to. Again, you don't like a call, go ahead and talk to me. I'm not going to re-call the match but I will listen to your concern and explain to you my decision. Here is what I judge on: Did I enjoy it? Did I think it was better than your opponents? Do I want to see more of the character? Is there a lot of emphasis on the match? EVERYONE has different styles and everyone judges differently (which is why I am the only judge ...not a whole lot of cooks in this kitchen) and through my past experience I found that laying down that I judge on this percent and I judge on that percent just doesn't work for me because that is being married to a certain style. That is why I have those core questions instead of saying I give points for Character Development or Story ...because some people just want to write a wrestling promo and some want to tell a sprawling story. I don't favor one over the other ...just whatever has me wanting more of that character. No Shows If you no show, I am not going to ban you for life. I will simply take you off the roster until I hear from you. We all have done it and yes it sucks ...but it isn't the worst thing a person can do. So no, flaking isn't a big deal and doesn't warrant an ousting or black balling from other feds or resource sites. PLEASE, if you can give us a heads up about no showing, please let us know ahead of time. Leave of Absences Now here is where I act a bit cold here. If you come to me and tell me you need time off, that is fine and it is granted. HOWEVER, if the time is longer than two weeks, you will be removed from the roster and your pic base will become available. Here is why. I have seen so many people tell a fed head they were going to be in the hospital and needed time off ...ONLY to have them never come back with the fed holding a spot for that character in a feud or storyline. Most times I would find these people signing up for other feds RIGHT after their request for time off. That is why more than two weeks leave of absence is temporarily off the roster and you just got to hope that someone doesn't take your base in the time you are gone. The Season We run on a season system Seasons last from October to early September with a four week break. Don't worry, there will be off season stuff to do. Show Information Okay, We do show a bit differently. We do have a show every week but we switch off between an RP show and an angle show. You will still have two weeks to RP for the RP show and will NOT need to RP for the angle show. Game Over (Angle Show) Bi-weekly. Game Over is the angle show that exists to push storylines and character development. Most of the time the matches will be squash matches. When they aren't squash matches, the winner will be decided by current feuds and storylines. There will be no title matches or matches for title shots on this show UNLESS there is an emergency with the title holder needing to drop the title immediately. You will not know who your opponent is as your match for Level Up is way more important. The main focus of this show is pushing storylines as well as allowing us to have more PPV's per season. The results for this show will be written in summary form and be written as a show report. This will not stop you from fully writing out segments. This show is streamed on X Box Live and Playstation Network. Level Up Bi-weekly.This is the show you RP for and ALL matches will be decided based on your RPs. As said, there is no limit to how many you can do or word limit or whatever. This show is on Showtime. Results are FULLY written for this show. PPVs These usually take place after four weeks and work like any other feds PPVs. HOWEVER, after every PPV there will be a two week break with no shows and no RPing. This is to give us all a break. Segment Deadline: Segment deadline is the Thursday before RP Deadline at 11: 59 p.m. This is done to put together things easier and on time Match Deadline: Match Deadline is the Wednesday before RP Deadline at 11:59 for the same reasons ...if you are a match writing I will have specific instructions for you. 1) Send as many segments as you want but beware that I will cut the stuff that doesn't add up with the rest of the rest of the show. But I will ALWAYS use at least one from your character. 2) You must label your segment as such: Segment name: Segment placement on Show: Segment Location: 3) Make sure to follow the uniform results format QUESTION: How serious are you on the Match and Segment deadlines? ANSWER: DEAD SERIOUS. If I don't get your match by match deadline I will immediately find a replacement and you won't write matches for me again. If I don't get your segment by segment deadline, I don't care where you are at on the card, the show will go up without it. I am not going to hold up a card because I am waiting on one person. So ..... 4) ALL DEADLINES MUST BE MET. There is no punishment other than you don't get your segment in the results or you don't get to write the match you wanted to write and won't be allowed to write matches ...but it will not affect your standing as a handler. Speaking of which ... STAFF There is no staff. There is only me. There is no VP. There is no second hand man. I am the only actual STAFF here and I am the one you come to with any concerns. NOW, if you want to help write matches you are more than welcome to volunteer ...but I am not looking to fill in a VP position and match writing does not make you "in the know" or a staff member ...it makes you a nice guy. Angles/Storylines/and Feuds 1) Matches are decided by RP for Level Up. They will be decided by angles on Game Over. 2) Storylines and feuds are a combination of you, your feud buddy and myself. You have a feud or storyline idea come to me and I will make it happen. Just let me know if you want to write the storylines or you want me to do it for you. 3) If you don't come to me with ideas I will book the character as I see fit. The SECOND you don't think your character isn't being portrayed the way you want him or her get a hold of me and we will fix it. Match Strats There will be a match strats form and I encourage all to fill them out for every match and get them to me ASAP. The strat deadline is a week before results day. Be as detailed as possible. OOC Rules 1) No flaming each other on the boards. 2) No complaints about results on the boards. Please bring them to me via PM instead. 3) All nit picks about coding on results are to directed to my PM. 4) Heated debates are welcome but remember to respect each other's opinions on EVERYTHING even if you disagree. 5) One conversation we are not going to have on the OOC is this: We are NOT going to have the gender debate about men facing women in e wrestling. Here are my thoughts on this matter: a) This is a writing contest and if you can write better handling a female woman more power to you. We are not going to tell you can't compete because of the gender you have decided to RP as. B) ITS WRESTLING. Anybody Vs. Anybody can be booked in realistic fashion. No, we are not going to have women powerbombing Brodus sized folk ...but they will realistically be written to hang with the big boys. No, these points aren't to be argued here nor elsewhere. But this is the only one I am nipping in the bud just because I have had this conversation so many times. And finally the last portion. THE GOLDEN RULE HAVE FUN! If you aren't having fun then what are you doing here? If you are coming to me every show unhappy with things, I am going to ask you if you are having fun. If you are not having fun in this fed, my feelings won't be hurt if you leave. In the same vein, if you come to me telling me you aren't having fun but want to stay, I will work with you to make this for you again. Be it storyline, angle, or what not. This does not mean I will give you title matches ...but I will try my best to make this fun for you again and learn from things. But after all of that and you still aren't happy, you might have to consider parting ways. But until then, HAVE FUN! Edited by Chad Haggar, Aug 27 2013, 10:59 AM.
