Creating a Role Play. The Plot The plot is the basis of your role play, the part you absolutely must get right. All role play sites have differing standards, but here we say that your plot must be at least three small paragraphs in length - plot, history and extra information. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule, but that's our general standard. Your plots may be about anything, but we do ask that if the role play is mature then you put it in the title. [MR] for mature romance, [MV] for mature violence or [MRV] for both. The Extras As well as the plot, every role play here must include a set of rules, any warnings that need to be said, a sign up sheet of sorts and a list of roles you can play. Everything extra from there on is up to the host of the role play. The Title You will need a catchy title to invite possible players in. You can either have a straight to the point title - Miss Carter's School for Girls, for example - or a generic, short and sweet title that will make people click. One or two word titles often work for this, but it is all up to the author. The Category Choosing a category for your role play is sometimes harder than it sounds. Our categories are pretty specific, so you need to choose one in particular for your role play to fit in. If it's a historical romance role play with some fantasy creatures, for example, it could fit into three categories. Just choose the one which best describes the role play - we're not going to ban you from the site for picking the wrong category. You must create one topic in the Out Of Character forum for the sign ups and information, one in the In Character forum for the actual playing. Edited by ☽ Ѻʊḯʝα ♑, May 29 2014, 04:31 PM.
