The forum has been finished, and anyone is now free to register, create a profile, and roleplay once their character has been accepted. To those new to the site, a simple guide on how to start can be found here: http://w11.zetaboards.com/Legend_of_Heroes/topic/10131260/1/ We are also looking for characters to fill the following positions which will be important for the storyline development: - The Lecross Liberation Force's leadership rankings (Things such as - The Saul Regional Police (Anything from the Commander of the entire force to a member of the ordinary police force). Anyone interested in the above two positions should meet the following criteria: - Already have at least one existing character - Have some posting history on this forum OR a posting history on Hyakuji (A separate roleplaying forum). If you meet the above requirements, and are interested, please make a character following the regular character template, but with the skills omitted, and post it in this topic. You may be brief on things such as personality and history, the important thing is that an overall idea of the character can be gained, and what their exact role in the organisation that they are in. The profile posted here won't be their final profile, just a rough profile. Characters accepted will be given guidelines on how many skill points they may assign to their character, and the maximum points they may assign to each skill. Note that the importance of your character will largely determine this. For example, the commander of the Saul Regional Police will obviously be more experienced than a just a regular police. Feedback on characters posted here will be given via PM. Below is a list of roles that have already been taken. Please make sure to check the list before submitting a character. General Information Full Name: Geoffrey "Lion" Wilder Date of Birth: 4th August 1943 Birthplace: Cloe Port, Vaux Age: 57 Height: 202cm Weight: 94kg Residence: Mining Metropolice Evard, Middle Point, Saul Police Department Occupation: Former Saul Regional Police Commander, Saul Police Department Desk Officer Appearance: Spoiler: click to toggle Personality: From a little whelp he had always been trained with to be noble and valorous with a heart of gold. Even after years in his line of work did not jade his views in the least, always full of conviction and always steadfast in his decisions and actions, garnering respect from both his superiors, underlings and enemies alike. A lot of people had likened him as a gentle giant, towering and imposing on the outside yet gentle, kind and amiable on the inside. He has a soft spot for children, possibly considering the fact that he has a granddaughter. History: From his little humble beginning at Vaux's portside, Geoffrey Wilder lived the ordinary life as the son of a Vaux's regional police officer. Following his father's footsteps, he joined the police ranking at an early age. His line of work at the beginning was fairly quiet, but after being majorly involved in solving an incident that happened at Vaux's port city Cloe that involved a revolting group of servants belonging to one of the noble families, he was soon promoted to a higher rank, ending up being the youngest person who holds a rank higher than a regular officer in Vaux's Police Department. However at the same time, he specially requested to be transferred to the mining city Saul's Police Department, for reasons undisclosed by him. The request was tentatively approved. After his first initial success back in Vaux, he rapidly rose through the ranks during his time in Saul. Crimes had been kept low thanks to the Regional Police and, by extension, himself. There was a minor incident when some of the miners living at the lower point of Evard decided to revolt against the middle/top point, and once again in a situation that nearly mirrored the incident back in Vaux, Geoffrey was the first and most majorly involved in quelling the situation, earning him yet another promotion that placed him as of of the top ranking Commander in the Saul Police Department, as well as the nickname "Lion". The title however, was soaked in blood and he wasn't entirely happy about it. He spent the rest of his time in Saul doing his best to repair the relationship between the citizens of the lower point of Evard with those above. Though his efforts were strong and unrelenting, it unfortunately did not quite bear much fruit, much to his dejection. Year 1199, now being ranked as the top commanding officer of the entire Saul Police Department, he received a distress signal from the Lecross Capital to have him and some of his highest ranking men rendezvous with other region's police commanders as well as the Lecross Royal Army to Cloe Port, his hometown. It was a worrisome moment for him, and the first few days of silence was spent with him ever cautiously watching out to the horizon, wondering what might have caused the Lecross Kingdom such an alarm to have the whole island send their forces here. And then it happened. It was such an overwhelming odd, a ruthless, merciless slaughter that not even the best of the best amongst the Lecross Kingdom could survive from. The Erebonian Empire struck hard, decimating the entire port town with magnitude of firepower never before seen by the Lecross Kingdom. It was a completely one-sided assault, and in just a few hours, probably even less, the invasion was completed. Lecross Kingdom had fallen into the hands of the Erebonian Empire, Cloe Port had been wiped off the map, the best of the Regional Polices and royal armies defeated, and Geoffrey "Lion" Wilder raised the white flag under the Erebonian Empire. After his recovery months later, he was called over to the Saul's Police Department office. There, he received news that he is to be stripped off his High Commander title as 'punishment for his failure at defending Cloe Port'. He knew all too well however, that it was only done to quell the public's backlash towards the Police Department for the Erebonian invasion. Nevertheless, he accepted his punishment with open arms, out of shame that he failed to defend the kingdom, as well as letting his hometown be destroyed. He now works as no more than a desk officer as his previous position was taken over by someone else. Edited by Mayu, Mar 30 2014, 01:26 PM.

Full Name: Elainae (Prounounced Elaina) Umi Rise Misaki Date of Birth: Month: November Day: 9th Year: 1182 Birthplace: Vaux Age: 18 Weight: 134 Height: 4'11 Residence: Agard Fortress Occupation: Lecross Liberation Force - Spy Alchemist In Spare Time Appearance:
Personality: Despite her size, Elainae tends to act tough all the time, and feels the need to be strong for other people despite the circumstance. She also is very cold at times, especially towards people who can clearly protect themselves, but choose not too.(That get in the way with everything} Though with her friends, she is very protective of them and is a sweet person to be around. Their are time's though were Elainae is hotheaded, especially towards her younger brother Malic. Though once she goe's out and cool's off, she comes back to her usual self. History: Like any other kid, she had a pretty normal childhood. She had a mother who was your typical housewife and a father who was an alchemist, and soon after an annoying little brother. Their were a happy family, though that soon changed. One night when her father went out to gather alchemy ingredients out in the woods, they didn't suspect that he would never return. The family soon found out later on, that he was found dead near a bandit's camp. Her mother was a mess and didn't know how to think nor feel, so for a while it was Elainae who had to take on the responsibility of looking after the cottage, and feed and take after her brother until her mother redeemed herself. Once she got older, her hatred towards bandits grew. A couple times she walked in the village to deliver some alchemy potions for money, as well visit her alchemy teacher. Little did she know their would be bandits robbing some ransom. With her being so small she was easily hidden. With revenge she stopped the bandits and beat them with her hidden daggers, until they were on the ground helpless, though of course still alive.. She then would give back the stolen goods, from doing this she became known as "The Guardian Angel", though people used Angel for short. Soon after her 18th birthday, she became recruited by the Arcard Fortress to become one of their new recruits, being through all those years of protecting others in her hometown, of course she accepted the opportunity. Even if her mother didn't approve of this, she knew that she would have to deal with it and promised her that she would be safe. That eventually, they ALL would be safe, in this land. Just a reminder that we are still requiring leadership characters, particularly for the Lecross Liberation Force, to be created. Anyone who already has a character profile up is eligible to create a character especially for the leadership role. Leadership roles that the Lecross Liberation Force need are: - Tactician - Medic - Weapons Specialists (A teacher to train recruits in swordsmanship, archery, and so on) There are probably some areas I have missed out, but those are the main roles we are looking for. Any specialist role is more or less open. If you're interested, please check the original post on how exactly to apply. Edited by Mayu, Mar 30 2014, 06:33 PM.

Time For Tactics! General Information Full Name: Corpl. Lennard Barrons Date of Birth: April 9th, 1172 Birthplace: Carcassonne, Orand Age: 27 Height: 5’7” Weight: 146 pds. Residence: Agard Fortress Occupation:Tactician and Strategist of the Lecross Liberation Force Appearance: Lennard A thick and bearded man, hardened from years of military training, he still carries awards and honors from his old days in the military. He has adopted the habit of a red shirt so his men may never see him bleed. He walks as if he needs not know where he is stepping and each footstep seems to contain a definite amount of measured energy. Specific Information Weapon: Many An officer’s sabre (A mark of his former rank) A finely decorated pair of silver flintlock pistols A shortsword of fine craftsmanship Equipment: Powder horn Compass Looking glass Flask Charts and Maps Skills: [TBD] Personality: Lennard is a man who finds it difficult to quit the battlefield. He has relished in the martial discipline of the military and found a method that has allowed him to thrive without being forcibly constrained by the iron obedience required of soldiers. He is daring and observant on the battlefield and in his life, he knows that winning the battle is simply knowing when to strike and as such prefers to keep most people off guard. his tactics are often unorthodox. He respects bravery and duty and violently hates cowardice and surrender. When the peace treaties were signed all that time ago he refused to put down his blade, refusing to give up when the rest of the Kingdom’s military had. In the meanwhile he turned to banditry, striking at Ereobian caravans and trade supplies, taking no prisoners and living off what he captured. As he saw his native land turn to support the invaders he swore away his own blood and made an oath to purge his kinsmen of their shame if he ever could. Though he hates cowardice he is no stranger to the retreat, he considers it an interesting tactic that not many commanders utilize properly. He expects obedience from his soldiers and is more than willing to institute corporeal punishment. In his former career he was noted to stand at the very front of his company and do battle beside his men. After the battle was over he would always bear as many wounds as his men had and saw to the execution of those who had routed or ran from the battle. History: Lennard was the third son of a prominent family of merchants. By some strange stroke of fate he seemed instinctively drawn to the military. He would spend his days hanging around the barracks and peaking through the slot board fence that hid the parade grounds. When he came home he would march all about his room, practicing movement in formation, arms handling, and, the most important skill of commanders, shouting with authority. He would exchange his mother’s packed lunches for soldier's rations at the barracks, he was eager to acclimate to the food of the military. This personally delighted his family, a career in the military was honorable and reduced the potential complications when it came to inheritance, according to traditional practices the merchant company would have to all go to the first son, which could leave the other siblings highly dissatisfied. At the age of sixteen he was bought an officer’s position in the Kingdom’s military. In training he did as well as could be expected, he seemed to grasp the tactical concepts of infantry and riflemen most easily. He also showed a fair skill at cartography and terrain usage. He graduated with acceptable marks and was moved onto the battlefront, his early career would be mostly small skirmishes with bandits or raiding parties from other nations. On the battlefield he was in his element. He began by simply commanding single formations. His men would be the last to retreat, and though they suffered the brunt of casualties on many occasions, they formed the anvil upon which the enemy was held and destroyed by cavalry and other forces. His commanders began putting him in more prominent positions on the battleline. Whether this was to hold a flagging flank, keep the center of a battleline iron, or lead a detachment of irregulars in ambush he was always useful. The only things he demanded of his men were determination and bravery, they had to hold the line until told to retreat. He stood at the very front of many a spearhead and on occasion meted out capital punishment upon those who decided to flee. His utility in battle earned him the rank of corporal and a platoon of his own. Their first task was the Oran peasant uprising. Making use of terrain, ambush, and stern discipline Lennard’s platoon was able to outmaneuver and outwit their numerically, though highly less trained, opponents. His greatest feat was the Sacking of Varcrosse where his platoon captured the rebellion’s central city and its head leaders. The rest of the army retreated as Lennard’s platoon stormed the central church, however, and Lennard’s platoon survived for two days, holding the church in a series of skirmishes throughout the days. His sterling career, however, would turn sour upon the invasion by the Erebonian Invasion. After the rebellion was put down Lennard’s platoon would be forced to immediately deploy to fight the invading forces. If the time had been given for him to return to central command he most likely would have received a promotion to higher rank. Though his platoon was hardened they were not invincible. The casualties suffered at the Sacking of Varcrosse had to be filled with fresh recruits that were not as veteran as Lennard’s regular forces and the Erebonian’s superior technology would combine to cause his forces to route despite Lennard’s commanding presence at accurate shots. The Kingdom’s army was forced back step by step until they were forced to sign the infamous peacefire to keep the kingdom. Rather than surrender his blade Lennard and a few of his most trusted soldiers deserted the army to continue the fight. They would act as bandits, attacking supply caravans and executing important officers. Their strikes, though successful, were simply too small to be of much use. Lennard cursed his native land’s cowardice and a great many other things as his men began to desert, all too aware that their struggle was useless. Salvation came, however, when he learned of the Lacrosse Liberation Force. He and his remaining forces traveled Saul and came into contact with members of the liberation front. Lennard offered his full military expertise to the movement. |
