Greetings, I am writing this letter to inform you that I am in Thorn, resting after a long journey. I am hoping to meet with you regarding both the elemental stones and the werewolf plague. I would like to set up a time to meet you, but also to get directions to your guild head quarters. I've been told it is near thorn, but I did not see it when I came in to town. I thank you for your time, Raynah Jackson, Minister of Artifacts |
| Off in the distant shadows of the approaching dusk, a scream could be heard echoing off of the hills. She looked down at her blood soaked hands, then to the orc cheiftan laying in a heap on the ground. Beginning to weap, first in sadness, she began to lick the blood from her fingers. Her weaping turned to laughter, her face grinning widely with her teeth exposed. Evil consumed her, and the fear she felt at slaying the orc turned to rage, and she began to hunt for her new lust...orc blood. | |

Minister, You are, of course, welcome to visit us at any time. We are located just outside of Thorn, south of the road. However, I doubt you will have many questions that cannot be preemptively answered. Yes, we do occasionally find "leads" as to where the elemental stones are, but no, we have not found one. All of our leads appear to be either false or no longer relevant due to age. We have no interest in using the elemental stones. Although we have not yet agreed upon what we will do with them, it is likely that we will destroy them. The werewolf plague still persists, but only just barely. We have injected a cure into many animals that the werewolves eat. It is just a matter of time until the plague subsides. On that note, you may wish to tell your king, who seems oblivious to the plague, that it was not caused by any normal lyncanthropic plague. This one is some sort of magical transformation. We do not know what started it, but it should be ended shortly. Habbay of the Bleeding Hand |

Habbay, In my short time as the Minister of Artifacts, I have learned that the King seems to be completely aware of all things happening in Leefe, and often measures the significance far more accurately than any of us could assess. On behalf of myself, as a citizen of Leefe, and I'm sure all of the citizens, thank you for your guilds hard work in discovering the source, as well as the cure to the plague. In regards to the stones, if destroying them is what your guild feels is best, I urge you to reconsider. I'd love to put the stones in the museum for all to see and to allow myself and others to study them. I'd also appreciate if you could share any information you've discovered regarding the stones. I certainly understand the massive amount of false leads you must surely be following, but in terms of history/myth/legend of the stones, details would be great. Again, I thank you for your service to the citizens of Leefe, Raynah Jackson, Minister of Artifacts |
