Sire, I've uncovered evidence as to the possible location of the remaining elemental stones. I also am aware that the other guilds actively persue me, hoping to steal the elemental stones out from under me. I ask that you would send white knights with me, to help ensure that it is in fact the crown who obtains the stones, and not some ill intentioned guild. Furthermore, I encourage you to keep a close eye on the Red Dragon Guild. I suspect they've obtained a stone, and are the leading threat to my search for the stones. They've even attempted to infiltrate my guild by paying spies upward of 10,000gp. Additionally, you of course met with Terrabolt the other night. I encourage you to excercise the greatest caution when dealing with Terrabolt. My information is indicating he may be the source behind the invading Green Alliance AND a massive army of dragons. On the note of Terrabolt, you will want to speak to Lord Pyrus. While I believe he is your most truest of friend, I believe he may be inadvertantly betraying you. Terrabolt indicated that he has been in constant contact with Lord Pyrus, which I believe is a major security risk, my lord. I still believe an assasination attempt will be made against you by the dormant assasins of Red Eye. The more I learn, the more I suspect Terrabolt was behind the assasinations. Terrabolt has also expressed a sincere intention to obtain the elemental stones. He has even suggested uniting the guilds in the attempt to find them. My concern with this notion is that he is attempting to exert influence in areas where he ought not to. Do not forget that it is you who is allied to the seer, not Terrabolt. I would suspect the seer has a far better grasp on what is to come, than Terrabolt does. Even with that said, I think it is worth noting that with all of the influence being exerted on you by the seer, terrabolt, the public, and the guilds, I pray that in your wisdom you have not forgotten that it is you who are King. I am doing what I can, through my search for artifacts and my influence throughout Leefe, to protect you, sire. However, I can't seem to shake the feeling that their is an impending doom looming in our future. Your majesty, I know that in your wisdom, you will unravel what is happening here in Leefe. I believe too that you will keep us safe from the armies and dragons that bare down on us. I hope you will consider what I've told you, not as fact or fiction, but merely advise, for truely, you are King. I am giving you these red flags now, in case something happens sooner than I anticipate. I know you will take adequate precautions, if you weigh the risk to be as great as I do. Sincerely, Minister of Artifacts. |
| Off in the distant shadows of the approaching dusk, a scream could be heard echoing off of the hills. She looked down at her blood soaked hands, then to the orc cheiftan laying in a heap on the ground. Beginning to weap, first in sadness, she began to lick the blood from her fingers. Her weaping turned to laughter, her face grinning widely with her teeth exposed. Evil consumed her, and the fear she felt at slaying the orc turned to rage, and she began to hunt for her new lust...orc blood. | |

Minister, Thank you for advising me on Terrabolt, but you are out of your element. You duty is to advise me on the artifacts of Leefe. I have worked with Terrabolt for a long time. I am sure that he would not fly in and kill hundreds of people and a dragon (not the first dragon he's killed) if he were leading them. Nobody would follow a leader that kills their own. He was released from my advisory because he refused to believe that peace was impossible with the Black Knights. I cannot allow him to work with me with those beliefs. After we met, he did suggest that he may have erred. The assassins of Red Eye were in fact shape-shifted demons. The gate to Hell has been sealed and they no longer pose a threat. I remain guarded at all times, however, so rest assured that I am safe. Now, in relation to your advisory about ancient artifacts (which is, I remind you, your job): I will see what can be done in the Red Dragon ranks. I have two White Knights secretly infiltrated into their ranks. They, so far, report no unusual activity. They, as all the guilds, are actively seeking the stones. I am glad that we possess at least one. That way, we can have a stake in this. I can impart a few White Knights to help you, but not in any region near the foothills. Any appearance of a White Knight would end your mission quickly. The Black Knights are watching vigilantly right now. We are expecting an attack in the coming few fortnights and it would be unwise to provoke them further. My mages are constructing a device for you that will allow you to call up your GOLD knights when needed. It is not ready yet, but it will be in a few weeks. I have asked a favor of Terrabolt and he has agreed. He is investigating the source of the dragon armies. He suggested that our only hope might be a preemptive strike. Good luck in your search. King Alrond |

*Holding the letter firmly, Raynah recites several words, and the parchment burst in to flames, and turns to ash. She falls asleep very confused.* |
