Professor, If someone wanted to protect against a powerful wizard (such as someone of Terrabolt's caliber), what would be the best way to do this? Are their any sure fire ways to contain/detect/destroy such a wizard? This is a purely hypothetical question. Also, have any of the students or recent grads of the UofM expressed interest in joining the GOLD Knights? Thank you, professor, *signed Raynah Jackson* |
| Off in the distant shadows of the approaching dusk, a scream could be heard echoing off of the hills. She looked down at her blood soaked hands, then to the orc cheiftan laying in a heap on the ground. Beginning to weap, first in sadness, she began to lick the blood from her fingers. Her weaping turned to laughter, her face grinning widely with her teeth exposed. Evil consumed her, and the fear she felt at slaying the orc turned to rage, and she began to hunt for her new lust...orc blood. | |

Raynah, You don't think you're of his caliber yet, do you? Here are some places to stay out of as you become a better wizard: The best place to fight a wizard is in a wild-magic area. But there haven't been any in Leefe in years. They occasionally come by Leefe in random intervals. Keep an eye out for these places. Another place is in front of a beholder. Magic doesn't work just in front of them. Another thing to beware of is sleeping. A dagger in the back works on just about anybody. It's wise to find glyphs that can stay up while you sleep. <<note: these don't exist in-game yet, but some time>> If somebody challenged you to a duel to the death, your best bet would be to run. But if you had to fight, a little intimidation never hurt anyone. Start with your best spells and try to make it look easy. Sometimes people will flee at the first big fireball. I hope this helps. Professor, Your letter was a most exciting read. I thank you for taking the time to discuss such strategies. Again, it was purely hypothetical, as I do most certainly do not think I am of the caliber of one such as Terrabolt. In fact, I prefer the position of a student...always learning. However, in my adventures to uncover ancient artifacts, I never know what I will encounter, and simply believe in being prepared mentally, if not physically. Again, I thank you for your time. Sincerely, Minister of Artifacts |
