Anyone get it? Just got it myself today, so far so good! I've sunk a few hours into it and got through the first temple and first two levels of the Spirit Tower. Gotta admit some of the new tools of the trade are really neat, and controlling the Phantom actually makes the Spirit Tower a fun experience unlike the Temple of the Ocean King. I highly recommend what I've seen so far, I'll report things as I go along! |

Prepare for trouble!

Glad to hear that it's good so far! I was kinda worried about it, seeing as I'd never imagine Link driving a steam-powered locomotive. And that ocean temple was annoying in the beginning of PH D: I might consider giving this one a go then. The thought of another DS Zelda makes me very happy xD That, and controlling a Phantom sounds like a lot of fun in itself. |

I think I might pick up Phantom Choo-Choo sometime after christmas. It does look pretty nifty. I still need to get the first DS game though. |

I think the worst aspect is actually the train. Not that it isn't fun, it's just too slow for my liking. At least with the boat you could go wherever you want and explore, the train is locked into certain paths (obviously) and just goes a little too slow for my liking. Other exploration elements are cool though, but it's the usual Zelda exploring kind of thing. That being said, the dungeons in this game are absolutely phenomenal. Just went through the Snow Temple, which was absolutely brilliant in design, the boss was great, and the use for the item you receive there (very familiar) is excellent. Then of course, I'm still digging the Tower of Spirits, the whole controlling a phantom thing is great! There are lots of different elements that go into the puzzles there, and you really have to wrap your brain around some of them to solve the dungeon. And something that I think is going to go very unnoticed here is the excellent characterization of Zelda, you really feel a connection to her throughout the game. You may see what I mean when you play through it yourself. Anyway, I just opened up the "Ocean" section, that can only mean the Water Temple is coming up next and I can't wait :D |

I tried to like them... I really did... Same thing with Metroid Prime (I like Metroid though). I just couldn't get into them at all, I found them extremely boring |

Well what did you like about Wind Waker? Phantom Hourglass is a direct sequel to Wind Waker and Phantom Choo-Choo is a sequel to Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass, although it takes place 100 years later so its a different Link and Zelda, which is usually the case XD. |

Phantom Choo-Choo. I like that. Personally, I loved Metroid Prime, but WW was probably my favorite Zelda. |

I wish I could take credit for the name, but unfortunately it was the brilliant minds at GoNintendo that came up with it. And WW wasn't my favorite Zelda but I enjoyed it quite a bit. I didn't even hate having to get the triforce as much as others did. |
