Anyone interested in this little indie title?

For those of you who don't know, Dungeon Defenders is cartoon style tower defense/ action RPG, with persistence and online co-op. There's four classes, with more on the way, plenty of skills, lots of leveling, plenty of loot, and 24 character slots to make sure you've got it all covered. There's also a pet system, and if you preorder the game on steam, you get four pets: The familiar Heavy, Medic, Pyro, and Engineer. The portal gun also comes with preorder. The game right now is about 13.50, but goes up to 15 when it comes out in a little more than a week... it looks like a fantastic little indie title, and I know I'm looking forward to it- preordered my copy a few days ago, actually. If you do get it, let me know so I have some defender buddies to play with :)

I currently have zero interest in this game what so ever (part in due to ignorance, another part due to money issues and it becoming the holiday season).

However, I am looking forward to your review.

I was just about to make a topic about this game. It is really fun, it's like a cross between Diablo and Dota. You've got monsters coming out of several spawning points, which follow certain paths (e.g. lanes) to the crystal that your trying to guard. You can put up towers, traps, and wards to keep them at bay and you can fend off the monsters yourself, whilst gathering loot from corpses to improve your character (dps, defense, resistance etc). There's a maximum of 75 levels to obtain (and a skill tree of sorts to complete), and you can pick from several classes to play as such as mage, warrior, ranger etc. As a general rule, the higher the difficulty level you play through, the better loot you will get.

So, essentially the game is pretty fun. If you guys still play, hit me up on steam as I wouldn't mind having a group to run through all the levels and challenges with.

A friend of mine just gifted it to me about an hour ago!

I haven't been able to download it yet though. I have reason to believe steam is fudging up momentarily. . .

I also just got it yesterday, but haven't had time to play it yet, and probably won't for a couple days, but if you all decide to run through it as a group be sure to invite me, it looks like a fun game from what I've seen and I'd like to play with some friends.
