Why is there still no thread for this?! It's out on the 31st! I just pre ordered this shit. Gonna be ballin' HERE'S A TRAILER After two prequels and a side story that contributed nothing to the story (coded) we're finally getting a proper sequel to Kingdom Hearts 2! Sure it's not "Kingdom Hearts 3" but Nomura says it's just as important to the story as Birth By Sleep, which he claims is just as important as the numbered games. The demo is up on the eshop, and the whole "flowmotion" system (their fancy term for interactive environments) is fuckin' awesome. So Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, who's getting it, who's pumped?! totally not a wifi game oops Edited by Maddok, Jul 13 2012, 12:22 AM.

BECAUSE NO ONE GIVES A FLYING FUCK ABOUT YOUR STUPID KINGDOM HEARTS GAME! *kicks all of my Kingdom Hearts games under the bed* I jest my good sir :3, I am fucking pumped for it as well! Ashamed to say, I've had Birth by Sleep since it launched (or a few days after. . .) but I haven't beaten it yet! I'm currently trying to rectify that. I'm also going to try and unlock the re:coded ending by the 31st (if all else fails I'll just google it like a melvin) As far as this version goes. I don't care if its a side story, main story, splitstory, it wins in my book simply because of Tron Legacy! Now I have a stupid question. You getting the regular edition or the Mark of Master edition? I'll be reserving MoM Edition on Amazon tomorrow :3. I may even get the strategy guide. Also, I was slightly annoyed at first because The Last STory was supposedly launching the same day as KH3D, and while I was intending on getting both anyhow, I was wanting one to come out before the other so I could have proper time to play both! I'm getting the normal version because when I went to pre order it I was $10 short of the mark of mastery edition. :T Really oughtta get a job what with having graduated this year and all. I didn't like Re: Coded very much because it kinda rehashed all the worlds from the first game and then it rehashed them again and then a third time all in one game except with those stupid blocks all over the damn place. It really doesn't contribute a HMS damn thing to the story at all but you do get to find out what the letter Sora got from the king at the end of KH II says. Better get to beating that Birth By Sleep though, shits intense. |

Re:Coded was good ol' fashioned fun, but I agree entirely, it could vanish from the timeline and barely anything of worth would be lost. Also so help me jesus if I have to go to Agrabah one more time! Edited by Hyper Metal Sonic, Jul 13 2012, 02:34 PM.

I get my check 2 days before it comes out, so I may get the Mark Of Mastery Edition. I need more gams. OoT3D isn't cutting it. With all this talk about how Re:Coded and BBS(kinda) didn't help the story, what if Spoiler: click to toggle

Do you mean how to put things in a spoiler box? If so, [ spoiler ] is the tag. As far as BBS goes, I'd say it didn't ADD anything to the story, just reinforced the series' backstory, which was good enough for me. Kingdom Hearts III will add a great bit to the story line Juni. It'll tell us what Mickey Mouse was doing while Sora was fighting the final bosses in each game. It'll show us Donald and Goofy's origins of meeting at a gay bar, it'll show us Sora and Riku eating dinner together as children and chiding Kairi for having cooties, and it'll show Winnie the Pooh going renegade and becoming the new protagonist of the series, but his weapon of choice will be chainsaw.
