Mhm! I think I've decided again Neverdead. It does seem to look overly repetitive, and Singularity, Wolfenstein, Bioshock, and the Darkness 2 seem like they cover the unique shooter category for the most part.

I've only played a demo of Darkness II, but it looks fantastic. I love the art style.

I've watched Omar stream a lot of it. It seems very awesome. Kind of arcade style, tons of power ups, very colorful characters, and an amazing comic book style.

It'll be $15 this upcoming week.

Yup! A lot of stuff was only available for store pick-up because I guess the cheapassgamers got their hands on it during the night.

I did manage to get Wolfenstein, The Darkness 2 (Limited edition :0), Rayman Originsm and Singularity.

I was hoping I could find Dirt 3, but the only one they had was the complete edition which wasn't on sale. Good stuff though :3 Normally I'm not too into FPSs but these seem pretty awesome and unique.

I was also surprised, because I didn't expect a place like Best Buy to stock so many copies of Persona 4 Arena, but there were tons. I didn't get it though.

I wish The Darkness II was available for online order, I'd snatch it up right at this moment. And its unavailable at the stores near me.

Oh well, I have too much shit to play as it is.

I'm hoping that Bestbuy will restock for shipping in a couple of days. D:

That would be nice, though I wouldn't get your hopes up, they didn't a few weeks ago during their first Summer Blow Out ;___; which is a shame because I really wanted Deus Ex for $10.

A lot of the games on these lists didn't sell very well initially (some of them did quite well, such as Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, however, that is now almost 1 and a half years old) so this sale is probably also an excuse to get rid of their inventory to open up room for different, more popular titles.

Yeah, probably. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but it would be cool if more people were able to get in on this.

I've played Rayman, Darkness 2, and Singularity so far, so here's some of my first impressions:

Rayman is absolutely wonderful. I only played a couple of levels, but they were just so charming and I can definitely see myself going back to get all the lum rewards and time trial stuff and what not. It's completely awesome and beautiful. It's kind of nostalgic for me since I played Rayman 1 and 2 as a kid, and now I want to play them again! This is gonna be a pretty happy and fun title.

Darkness 2 is also really awesome. Iunno if it was on purpose or an accident, but I ended up with the limited edition version which came with a poster, codes for a few Darkness comics on Comixology, some DLC stuffs, and the game. I am just so impressed with how a game called DARKNESS could be so colorful, and more importantly, how it manages to make it work. I feel relatively invincible in the combat, but I'm only on normal and at the beginning. The voice acting and everything is just so awesome.

Singularity. This was a game I took a chance on. And I've only managed to play like 10-15 minutes before my controller died, but it was awesome. At first I was kind of worried cause the beginning seemed straight out of Call of Duty, but it threw that away about 30 seconds in lol. I've heard it compared to Bioshock a lot, which I haven't really played (I've watched Pat play Bioshock 2 once) and so far it is just really really amazing. It has quite the atmosphere so far. Kind of reminds me of Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem and I am so disgruntled that I ran out of battery power. I've already jumped and have freaked out more in this game than in all of RE5 (not counting Lost in Nightmare).

I haven't gotten to Wolfenstein yet, but it did come with a download code for the flamethrower. I highly recommend all of the games I've had a chance to try so far (based only on my first impression; look into it more before going through with a purchase)

The only games out of those that I am interested in is Darkness and Rayman.

I already own Rayman and am about half way through. I like it a lot as well. The charm is just bursting out of the disc.

I got to water levels, which, I hate to say (because like you absolutely love the game) suck ;__; (but that's just my opinion, I hate most water levels in general XD) so now its not so much fun as it was and now its a chore, so I'm definitely excited to get the hell out of the water and back to the fun!

I really like the boss battles and how they are shoot 'em ups.

Ah, yes, water levels. I remember water levels from Rayman 2, where you need to stay alive by trailing a whale and get oxygen bubbles. It always scared me as a kid.

I completely agree with the charm bursting out of the disc though! It's truly is the greatest love letter to retro gaming and I always love games that have awesome art designs.

So another update.

Wolfenstein has been pretty cool so far, but somewhat similar to Singularity. Not a bad thing though.

Wolfenstein and Singularity are taking a back seat to the Darkness 2 and Rayman Origins though. I'm at the Ice/Food area in Rayman and the Darkness 2, oh man. It's like being on the opposite side of Omar's Alan Wake stream.

If any of you have an questions, I'd be happy to answer.
