I've been thinking about this since I returned to lotro, of creating a fellowship of lowbies....rp lowbies. To play once a week, maybe twice if we're all into it and can make the time from our regular gaming. Similar to old d and d when we played once a week. Not meant as a grind. If you get virtue traits, great. no out leveling the troupe!! Do ALL the epics, is manditory here! We all have crafting, so gear will be good. Someone can explore a class they always wanted to play, as you'll always be in a fellowship and we'll be there to help. Do some things that we never got to do while leveling..that sort of thing. Explore...at a snails pace..if we choose. Find that guy with the burro that is planted all over middle earth, etc. I still have a lvl 12 warden, hobbit, that I was thinking of reviving for it. Chukk's brother. When you see the name, you'll figure it out. But not necessarily rp'd that way. If we want to rp it all. great. we could be a band of thieves. a quasi military outfit on a long mission. rangers..doing something as similar, endless possibilities. Not limited to any race, class or height. Be nice if we had a balanced fellowship though. not 6 wardens. If we have more than 6 interested....well, we will figure it out. Intended as a change of pace in our gaming. Not to replace it. |

Ohhhh!!! I likes this muchly! Grand idea, Chukkato! I'm up for RPing lowbies. One day a week is manageable, as I have irl stuff goings on that I can't give up throughout the week. I can easily make a new lowbie toon to rp/fellowship with, and do epic stuff too. Would like to try a different class as well, been getting knee deep in hunter/minstrel classes that a change would be refreshing! Perhaps I can try a guardian or some such class, stray away from the DPS classes that I'm so accustomed to. So, yup yup! I'm in! Hope we can mesh well together as an RP/fellowship troupe. I hope ya'll don't mind if I am a bit silly...that is how I play Lotro....I kinda regress, eh? But I can reign it in if it gets too much silly.... ![]() Fionah Fairskinne FEET kinship |

Silliness is a sought after attribute for this mission! ![]() Instances can be rp'd into a story. Someone comes to the troupe with a "mission". Stealing pies in the Shire. Or Carn Dum. hehe. |

It's a little hard for me to know in advance when I'll have free time during the week. Since I already made it clear to my boss that I needed my sunday nights for the weekly concerts, my 'free-evening-no-matter-what' allowance is somewhat spent... But I'd gladly join these expeditions whenever it's possible! I guess that it's always possible to do some soloing during the week in order to catch up with the group, for lvl and questlines? Anyways, I like this idea very much, Mr. Chukkato! |

Oh I think that would work! It was how I was thinking we could manage if we have more than 6 as well. Those that can't make it, catch up on their own, or we have two fellowships, raid, different nights, we'll figure it out as we go. I'll get a xp blocker thingy as well. Those that miss we can do a followup mission! I can go along then. No doubt we would forget something behind and have to go back!! ![]() |

Build a character and get ready. No rush, we are at least a week or more away from setting a start date. Like I said no rush. No higher than lvl 12 before we start, please. Let me know what class you're making, don't care about the names yet. Instructions to come in the next week or so. ![]() |

So... if I get over my "raid-anxiety"., where I feel I'll cause more wipes of the group than the enemy, what classes would be best for this? I've played hunters, RK, and Minstrel the most, I've tried Guardian and Champion, and have a Lore Master and a Burglar that never quite got off the ground. I'm not bad at the "shoot it if it moves but doesn't give the secret wave" style of hunter, RK is interesting (I like balancing healing and zapping), I have no idea what I'm doing with the others, short of whacking on things until they stop moving. Most all my characters end up chained to the crafting halls. LOL I'm willing to give it a try, but what to play? |

No worries about raid anxiety Mr Krohkur! It will be good to have you on our "mission". RK will be fine! We only have a minstrel for healing. We have a wee warden, mine, for tanking. See if I can get better at it ![]() Or..use one of your existing lowbies. My warden is at lvl 15. He was 12, but I logged him on and they figured he was sooo good, they gave him 3 more levels. hehe Epics start at 15 anyway. I'd like to start next week. I need to get hold of a couple of ingame folks and see if still interested and/or ready. |
