In the human / hobbit intro to LotRO when Archet is attacked by the brigands, poor Ned Pruner the jailer, dies in front of his wife Peg. That is last you see or hear of Peg in the game... or is it?![]() After the intro is done and you are in burned out ruins of Archet, go back to the jail house where the stocks are... ![]() You'll notice that door is not clickable. Sadly. But that's ok! Just walk up to it... ![]() And step into it... and .... ![]() Viola! It's Peg! Click on her a few times and she'll have something to say... ![]() ![]() ![]() And then have a look around the rest of the jailhouse. Yes, you can step into the right jail cell. The left one won't let you enter. ![]() ![]() ![]() Of course now I'll be running into every door I find to see if there's more like that... |

Pun intended. In one of the "The Legend of Zelda" games, Link went to the Kakariko Village pub for some rest and relaxation. Link holding a pot When he walked in, he saw an old man sitting on a mat, mumbling in his sleep. He was saying something about his flute-playing son who had gone to look for the Golden Power but hadn't returned. The old man wondered what his son was doing now. Link wanted to help the man, but he didn't know where to start. He went back to the Blacksmith's Shop and picked up his tempered sword, which now glowed like fire, and headed out. He was wandering in the Haunted Grove southeast of Kakariko when he heard a flute. Following the sound, he found a young boy standing on a stump, surrounded by forest animals. When Link tried to get close, the animals ran away and the boy faded into nothingness. This was a really tricky bit of navigating and thanks to Skoch for helping out with this one. Our travels took us into the Troll area of the North Downs... ![]() And after jumping and climbing to the peak of a nearly impossible mountain to traverse, the reward was waiting... ![]() Unfortunately, that's as close as we could get.

Yes.. that's right. Even devs have a sense of humour! And a good one at that. Deep in the rich history of Monty Python movies comes a horrific scene of terror, chaos, mayhem, and bloodshed. Mmhmm. The Vorpal Bunny! Here now is the LotRO salute to this fantastic scene! Fisrt, where to go? Enedwaith of course. Just to the Northwest of Ost Dunnoth ![]() You're looking for the eeeeeeeeeeeebil bunneh of Caerbannog ![]() And all of its carnage... ![]() ![]() And of course, the eeeeeebil bunneh's cave.. ![]() And we all know that if there's ANYONE that could befriend an eeeeebil bunneh, it's Fincin...

So as to not further clog up the board with this silliness, I've started a blog. You can follow it here (if you like) http://justabbys.com/blog/main/3301061/ |
