Hey all! I wanted to let you know I am officially inviting LBC to be part of Symphony of Light V. Trom and I have exchanged a few in game letters about this but I wanted to officially post my invitation to you all. I am seeking bands to play music and have two options. Option 1: Play the pre-show gathering at the Golden Perch sometime between 6:00 to 8:3o PM EST. There will be a spot for at least two bands because I intend on giving an hour of play time during this gathering for the ride to Rivendell where we put a massive hole into the ozone lol Option 2: I will have spots for three bands here that will play for 30 minutes a piece during the fireworks being shot by Sons of Numenor. Basically it just depends on what you'd feel more comfortable with time wise. This is happening on September 22nd which is a Monday. Please let me know if you all would be interested and which option you'd like to have. The fireworks part of the concert would most likely start at around 10:00 PM and go til late as we start riding out to Rivendell at 9:00 PM EST/Server time. If you have any questions please drop me an in game mailer or just catch me in game. While I am on vacation in Ohio I will do my best to keep tabs on this because this event will hit us pretty fast. I want to give the bands that do decide to accept the invitation plenty of time to plan out their playlists

So, funny thing is EMS is one of the other main event bands. Will there be a trailer available for a quick wardrobe change? I'm also contractually obligated at least a 10m break between sets. And I require a bowl of almond M&Ms -- not peanut! -- but only the pastel green kind that comes in the Easter color mix. And an elf lass no older than 200 to hold my lucky axe while I perform. And another whose only job is to light my pipe. I trust this will not be too much of a burden. Edited by Lifimun, Sep 4 2014, 07:46 PM.

I'm still trying to figure out how to tell if a Dwarf lass is over or under 200. That was years of age, right? not weight? Edited by Chukkato, Sep 8 2014, 12:49 PM.

There are ways... even more secret than our language. I will hint that the easiest method involves a brass ring, a gold ring, three tankards of ale, a chunk of Khazad skarn ore, two lumps of coal, an anvil, a hammer, some tongs, and a fast goat. |
