My Graphics card is dying; pc trouble

Just as a warning, my graphics card fan is on its last leg. I have a fan ordered and on its way but they are saying it can take up to a month as its coming from China. Tiger Direct, or Newegg, cannot remember which actually had the same fan in stock wanted $50+ dollars for it but buying from a China vendor, for same make and model, was only $15 so I opted for that option. I drilled a hole in the top of the fan just off center and dropped some clock oil in it and for the time being, seems to be working well. Will have my brother go online if this fix fails and I am unable to get a hold of anyone.

I get my parts from ncix.com, Canadian company, but they have an US website as well. Best computer, and parts company I've ever dealt with....by a country mile. Might give them a shot.
Such an oddball fan to buy, the one you found might be your only decent choice.

The really sad part is the fan at the pc sites I normally use, was 1/3rd the price of a new graphics card of same type I have....something very wrong about that, I will look into the site you suggested however Chukk, as its always nice to have somewhere else to turn when needed :)

It's too bad you weren't closer as I probably would be able to help you out...I've done electronics work for well over 30 years now and I could probably round something up...

I appreciate it, but for the moment, its running silent again, drilling a hole in the tip and dropping oil into it is a fix I have used before on fans and its working so far, so should be good to go until the new fan arrives :)
