I know the feeling.

Still to get:
Bayonetta or Darsiders (hopefully both!)
Brutal Legend

Those that are coming:
Final Fantasy XIII
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

And if you have a Xbox360 luniac, Star Ocean is really cheap at Kmart. I got it for $19 before christmas, and it was still $25 about a week ago.

no wai - that's rude - only just found out about Star Ocean recently ... looks kinda cool - no xbox so will probably have to shell out full price for the PS3 version when it comes out ... though if I bought a 360 I might save a few bucks on the x-platform games ... *hmmm*

should also add to my maybe list:

Brink
AvP
MAG

+ a PSP for Valkyria Chronicles 2!

and shit is Monster Hunter 3 coming out next month too?
+ Red Steel 2 in March

Seeing as my only real vice is videogaming, I generally get everything I intend to, as I don spend money on booze or cigarettes. That said, EB's rental policy with deposit certainly helps...

As for the ones I really want, it'd go like this:

Red Dead Redemption
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Mass Effect 2
AVP
Bioshock

Otherwise, I'm in no rush to get anything else.

January and Feb isn't too bad for me. I'm only going to be picking up Mass Effect 2. Bayonetta and Darksiders I'm borrowing from other people, so that won't be an issue there. Furthermore, I've got Dragon Age to constantly tide me over. Bioshock 2 doesn't interest me, and I'm still not entirely convinced about Heavy Rain yet.

March, however, is the deal breaker for me, and also the month where the 360 will get ignored. God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII, Yakuza 3 and Blazblue all get released. God of War and Yakuza are must buys for me, XIII I think I can hold off on, and I really would like to get Blazblue - especially since I've been waiting for what's been promised as a better version of the original version.

So how many Special Editions will everyone buy this year?

As long as they have normal game cases within I will get wallet raped.

Still havnt got Assassins Creed 2 so definitely on the list along with, Darksiders, God of War 3. Just picked up Brutal Legend and loving it. Also nearly forgot about Red Dead Redemption.

As for affording to buy these games, looks like i will be selling my ass in St Kilda to save enough cash...

As a 4 Player Podcast fan, I see a lot of their videos on Yakuza 2 and the demo of 3. Looks like a very interesting one, like Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance. Might get my brother to check it out along with Heavy Rain.

At the moment, none. Though if I had the option when I go to pick up my copy, then I might consider it.

I may get Batman: GOTY edition when it comes out. And if Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has a special edition, it will be hard for me to resist it.

- Mass Effect 2 SE
- Fallout: New Vegas SE (If there is one)
- Alpha Protocol SE (If SEGA hasnt fucked up Obsidian's Game too much)

Other than that, Im not bothering with SE's really. Unless there is something really good about them.

I picked up 2 of the games I was looking forward to, and 1 I wasnt but should've been

- Army of TWO: The 40th Day
- Darksiders
- Bayonetta

The Rest:

- Dante's Inferno
- Splinter Cell: Conviction
- AvP
