Nah pretty sure the Doctor's wife and kids were killed when Gallifrey burned...or when he destroyed the Daleks and Time Lords at the end of the Time War.

And shes isnt River Song :P River Song is appearing in an Upcoming Episode =P

I gotta say, I like the grumpy old bastard's theory on Amelia Pond. The mental angle works well, and reminds me of a certain person who used to peruse these boards...

Also, I'm pretty sure CT's right about his family, but what happened to that smokin' hot daughter he had at the end of season 3? I would watch more eps with her in it.

Wife dying cause he ended the time war by burning everything adds credence to the whole thing.

Something that he has caused will be going to destroy everything, but if he never existed, he never have caused this thing, Gallifrey never burns, wife alive and every thing safe.

Another part of my prediction, the Donna Doctor is the bad thing. As far as I know theres never been a evil sidekick. So she slowly turns evil, threatens all of time and space itself, he realises if he never exsisted then she couldn't exist as Doctor Donna......

Pompie exploded because it was a set point in time and space, but the Doctor couldn't explain why it was a set point. But we then find out it was a set point because he caused it to explode, but he only had to cause it to explode because the planet Pirovillia disappeared. Pirovillia disappeared because the Darleks escaped the time lock.

The darleks where actually created when the Doctor went to their home planet...... so on so forth.

If the Doctor removes himself completely from time, never existed. Many bad things never happened at all.

Like I said 2 more Doctors and we'll know for sure, cause a Timelord is only supposed to be able to regenerate 13 times. although that went out the window a bit with the Master. But technically he was only bought back to fight in the time war that was cause by..... well we don't actually know for sure but I think you'll find out it's

The Doctor.

Bum, da da bum da da bum da da bum, oooo....eeee....ooooo......

So slowly making my way through the first episode of the new season. Considering I haven't watched an episode not too long into Eccelston's time as the Doctor, I feel kinda lost. Though did the show always feel kinda kid friendly? Not that it's a bad thing, but I remember it differently.

I think the Doctor's contempt for humans will come through this season. After the whale and his decision with the Daleks I can see him coming to resent humanity. It'll make him very 2nd-3rd Doctor, which isn't a bad thing.

David Tennant was a great Doctor, but I didn't like him is his first season (Season 2 - new who) - but that could be the responsiblity of Rose. So you never now maybe Matt Smith will turn out to be good - ( at the moment it does seem unlikely)

actually here's an interesting thought - maybe once the Doctor regenerates 13 times a Doctor Donna (or a multiplication of the actual doctor) will emerge meaning that the number can be set back to one
