I'm giving away a redeem code for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory this week! All you have to do is post a comment in this article's thread on the Level 3 forum and you'll be in with a chance. Keep an eye on the thread to find out the winner on Friday afternoon.

But what exactly is this thing you're reading? EVERY Wednesday night you can hit Level3.org.au for your nice and neat look into this week's Xbox LIVE Marketplace releases, past and future. It even gets updated throughout the week if new stuff pops up. It's the only one of its kind... sort of.

Unfortunately there really isn't much on offer this week. There's some cool new Left 4 Dead content, but if you like either climaxes or chronic you might be into this week's Arcade releases. After Burner Climax is a port of the flying game from the arcades, minus the cool moving chair. A pretty good deal for 800 points. Puzzle Chronicles is like Puzzle Quest, except the name of the game and some other stuff is slightly different. What else can I say about Puzzle Chronicles? At least they didn't copy Puzzle Quest's 1200 point launch price!

Deal Of The Week:

Borderlands
The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, 400MSP (Normally 800MSP)

Games On Demand:

Halo 3, 3000MSP or $49.95

Puzzle Chronicles? Wow, that slipped under my radar. But, by an odd coincidence, I re-read the Hyper review of the DS version today, which wasn't particularly favourable - which is good for me, because there's a good chance I would have impulse bought it on the back of my fanatical love for Puzzle Quest.

I might pick up Afterburner though, the videos I've seen looked like a lot of fun.

EDIT: Also, isn't Sonic only $39.95? Still far too much - I've played the game, and it's just as bad as the reviews said it was.

Yes, I know, I registered just to enter the sweepstakes. However, I am genuinely glad I came across this site: the info on this thread is worth a lot to me. I have subscribed to so many newsletters for this info, but few of them bundle the new Marketplace items like on this forum!

Haha. Don't worry. We're all about the scam here on Level3. Do feel free to watch some eps and hang around as well. ;)

The DS ports of the Puzzle Quest series fall short of the console/PC versions. The developers know about it, and have even presented Post-Mortems on the subject at the Melbourne Library.

Afterburner looks great!

The DS version of the original Puzzle Quest was a great port, certainly compared to the rubbish version of Galactrix they released.

Galactrix was horrible on *every* system though, to be fair. I hope Puzzle Quest 2 holds up, the first one is still easily one of the best games on XBLA.

Will do :) As long as these XBOX Live summary threads keep coming, I will be coming back to the forums for my weekly dose of info. :D

When you DL 'the passing' you get 2 new avatar awards for L4D2 - a L4D2 hat (just for playing the DLC and the gnome (by playing 6 different mutations, this weeks is realism mode in versus).
