Saw 'Role Models' tonight. Was a good comedy (note: this opinion may be seriously tainted by the fact that I was forced to sit through 'Don't Mess With the Zohan' yesterday). The movie features talented actors such as: Stiffler, McLovin, that guy from friends that married Phoebe and that guy that takes the kids from Superbad to that party with the woman sauce. The story-line is predictable but there are some hilarious genital jokes spread throughout and Stiffler is actually funny in this one.

What the fuck was the point of that movie? It definitely wasn't to entertain. I feel like I've been forced to chow down on Sandler's cock-meat sandwich while I fondle his dangling ego with my spare hand.

I just rewatched Powder,
It's not easy being an albanian that has the power to make people feel the pain they give to others and attracts lightening.
I have a new understanding for Sef.

The Invisible Inaudible Family.
It's a 'traditional sitcom' about a family "as they deal with life, love, family and relationships", except for the fact that the family members are both invisible and inaudible, meaning that all the show is is basically shots of a house. However, every other sitcom convention is there, like the exterior shots, the cutaways, even the canned laughter and cheers. And it apparently goes on like this for the full 21 minutes. Of course, it's a Channel 31 show.
It isn't worth more than a few minutes (unlike Everybody Loves Hypnotoad*), but it's great to know that such a show exists.

*All glory to the hypnotoad...

As a once loyal Hawthorn supporter, these recent drubbings are just they need to whack those massive egos back in line.

Lol Hawks got whipped.

Watched 'Stranger Than Fiction' tonight. I absolutely adore the premise: man wakes to find his life is being narrated and the story unfolds from there. Given that Will Ferrell is in the lead role, it would be easy to mistake this movie for a dumb comedy, but as it turns out, Ferrell plays his character straight and the story is thought provoking. It's a shame this movie didn't receive more attention, but I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an involving, character driven story.
