Caprica Pilot. Thought it was going to be a Sci-Fi twist on a boring teen drama for the first half hour - then, kaboom! It looks promising...

Missed it bro. Was at work.

I shall catch it online, however.

Have just begun watching True Blood (only 3-4 episodes into the first season) based on recommendations from a few of the guys here.

I've liked what I have seen so far.

The DVD I have of it is stuffed, JLC, so I'll lend it to you when it's fixed. I'm getting it resurfaced tonight. ;)

I watched John Safran's Race Relations last night. While making his point about interracial couplings there were a few awkwardly hilarious (and in some ways hot) moments. The attempted creation of a Jelestinian (Jew/Palestinian hybrid) via sperm bank shenanigans was gold - I have my doubts that they actually did that (legal ramifications, ethical issues etc), but I firmly believe that that was real masturbation we were seeing (WOOH!). I also think that I may have picked up another vice from viewing this program - that of panty sniffing. If Safran's word is anything to go by, then I should start with some Eurasian panties, because they smell the best (well, at least better than Jew panties).

Let's just hope News Corp don't read your post, lest our eyes be bombarded with headlines like : "ABC LEFTIES BRAINWASHING VIEWERS INTO PANTY SNIFFING CREEPS" (situated right below an unrelated picture of a sportsperson or a kitten, naturally). Won't somebody please think of the children?!

Personally, I couldn't see what the Outrage™ was about. Sure, footage of John Safran whacking off whilst muttering "Obama, Obama" isn't going to win any good taste awards, but these moments were surrounded by context and substance, not to mention the fact that the only person being made a fool is Safran himself. And most importantly, unlike any other of the Outrage-inducing TV moments this year, it was actually funny.

Will watch again, etc, yada.

Watched BSG The Plan. Was good. Filled in some gaps and showed what was happening within the fleet the whole time from the Cylons perspective. Still, it fell a bit short of some of their other efforts (like Razor).

I recently saw 'Land of the Lost' which I was expecting to be absolute schlock, but which turned out to be pretty good. Will Ferrel brings his characteristic charm to the lead role while Rico from Hot Rod gets in on the action as a dodgy fireworks salesman/tour operator. Additionally, the design sense for this movie really got me going, it seems like they took some guidance from old sci-fi like Dr Who and the original Star Trek.

*Gives the thread mouth to mouth*

Went to see Zombieland and was rewarded with a fun zombie flick. Has some really funny bits as well as some nice and mushy zombie killin' action.

*Slips the thread a finger or two while it's still unconscious*

And has arguably the best line in the movie.

I just finished the second season of The Tudors. I think the chick that played Queen Anne Boleyn was really hot in a very-unconventional-looking kinda way

Sidenote: I'm at ep 9 of Dexter S4, and it's fairly obvious what's coming.
