Sidenote: I'm at ep 9 of Dexter S4, and it's fairly obvious what's coming.
So I've heard.

But yeah, I need to watch the entire season. So far behind...

Oh, Inglorious Basterds. Finished last night. Quite good.

This is also my opinion on the matter, only quite good.

I too watched Inglorious Basterds.

I loved it, such a Tarantino movie...

I love the distinction of it being "set in WWII" rather than being a "WWII movie"

My contribution to the family's Christmas viewings was the It's Always Sunny Christmas special. Now I've got to see if I can convince them to go town to Flinders with me tomorrow and throw rocks at trains.

What do you mean great stuff?
it was crap, the story was beyond acceptable Japanese weirdness. The only reason I can think of for anyone acknowledging this film as art is the director's name on the front cover.
I did find the ending credit theme quite funny and mis-suiting though.

The last Miyazaki film I watched was Howl's Moving Castle, which was terrible. So I was expecting better. And I got it.

Maybe because it was in English, maybe because the only cool thing about that movie was the moving castle, or maybe it was because Sophie's curse? Wasn't fucking explained properly when it's showing her swapping from super old to old without any explaination.

Either way, I didn't like it as much as the other Miyazaki films I'd seen at the time (Spirited Away, Nausicaa and Porco Rosso).

Kiki's delivery service was terrible, and Ponyo was almost as much.
Howl's moving castle is one of the better ones for me, although I haven't seen Nausicaa or Porco Rosso.
There's a lot of them I haven't seen.

Same here, Kiki didn't really do much for me either. And you NEED to see Nausicaa and Porco. And if you haven't, go watch Spirited Away.

Seen Inglourious Basterds on Blu Ray last night, quite enjoyed it, thought it was pretty funny with typical Tarantino dialogue and wit. The Bear Jew is awesome... Also saw Bruno which disgusted me at times, but also humoured me as well. Borat was much better in my opinion.
