Rags, because you watch rom-com films, that obviously makes you a little bitch. Same for when you watch Brokeback Mountain, must mean you love sucking uncircumsized cock. Communism is the only way to go. Didn't you notice where capitalism has gotten us in the last few years? WAKE UP! Keep giving your money to the banks, and their billionaire CEO's. The man in Moscow is much harder than the man in the U.S, or Australia. For example, look at our present and past two Prime Minister's they wouldn't be able to catch a fish with dynamite, but look at Russia's Putin, he can smash grizzly bears with his bare hands, he don't need a fishing line to catch a fish because he catches it with his mouth. Imagine Julia out hunting in the woods, hunting with her top off. Communism is for real men. |

In non-communist news - started watching Lock Stock again. Been ages since I've seen it, and all but forgotten about it. Will need to watch more, but subtitles do make the movie more watchable... |

Authoritarian is muuuuuuuch different to pure Communism/Marxism. The USSR wasn't controlled by the Proletariat, nor was the Revolution instituted by the Proletariat. Communism has never worked, nor will it to that pesky human trait called Greed. You'll never eradicate greed, nor will you get everyone thinking about the common good. People always want more. Communist states have rarely been truly communist, they've been Authoritarian Dictatorships run under the banner of Communism, but the Party Members at the top always seem to be well fed, well housed, well traveled....yet the common citizen is often poor, overworked, crammed into communal housing and has no say. The State runs and controls their lives, it tells them what they can watch, what they can read, what they can say, what they cant say, what they cant do.... Wait that sounds like what Conroy wants to do =P Yet idiots around this country still put him back into the Senate. Either way, Che Guevara was a brutal little murderer. You put Hitler on a tshirt and you're offending everyone, put that Communist little shit on a tshirt and you're celebrating a "Freedom Fighter". Bunch of Left Wing bullshit. |

Serious, Highlander was one of my fav films while growing up. My brother was a Highlander fanatic and could quote most of the film, so I had a heads up into the Highlander world. That song that plays throughout the intro is absolutely, fucking awesome! I forget the name of it now, but it set the mood. I didn't mind Highlander 2, but the ones after 2 did my head in. You can't fuck with the clan McLeod! |

"From the dawn of time we came; moving silently down through the centuries, living many secret lives, struggling to reach the time of the Gathering; when the few who remain will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among you... until now." Here we are, born to be kings with the PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE. My fav movie of all time. The sequels sucked, nothing beats the original. I have 2 different special etd DVDs of it. Edited by JLC215, Nov 9 2010, 12:38 PM.

Do both those DVD's omit the Zeist stuff? Because it's the ultimate FUCKING STUPID move in a movie ever. As for me, picked up some Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Playing DW: Gundam 2 last year gave me a brief understanding of the show, and I quite liked the story given to me. |

Planet Zeist was the crappy sequel not the original. There is a renegade edition of Highlander 2 where they replace Planet Zeist with a long time ago...which is just as bad imo. |

Yeah, I know Zeist was in the sequel - I wanted to know if they had omitted that from those versions of the film, and it turns out they hadn't. |
