Just watched Zombie Strippers (it "stars" Jenna Jameson). It was like watching a porno with no porn (I get the feeling there's an uncut version somewhere out there where everyone does each other). It seemed like it was written, directed and acted like a porno would be. The most developed character was the Mexican Janitor, Paco ("Badgers?!? We don't need no stinkin' badgers!"). According to this movie men prefer seeing dead chicks strip over live ones
. Its lucky I watched this with mates because we could laugh at how bad it was (and at a few genuinely funny bits). Its in the same vain as the grindhouse movies in that they sound like good ideas (machine gun for a leg should equal win) but turn out to be shit movies.

Battlestar Galactica: Razor. It's a movie that slots in somewhere towards the end of season 2. If you are BSG fan - old or new - you've got to watch it. It fills in some of the blanks between the old series and the new and gives an account of what happened to Battlestar Pegasus before they met up with Galactica. Epic win for me (but I am a fanboy of BSG)!

Man, you've all got your fangasms, huh? CT with Stargate, yourself with BSG and the irrepressible Luxy's Gallifrey fetish. I must be missing something with this scifi kick. I know. LEXX FTW! |

I may be wrong, but I think CT may be a Star Wars fan actually. His name being Clone Trooper and all.

How could I forget Sim?! What an asshole I am. Yeah, I must confess, I likes me some scifi, but not these serial versions. Firefly was all kinda of win, as was Lexx and Farscape, and the Doctor of course, before wifey dearest rips my head off. But I never got the Trek thing personally. Picard did give the world /facepalm, so they've earned their spot. Different strokes and all that I guess. |

BSG is entering its 4th and final season this year, so its a fair bit shorter than the others. BSG always been about finding earth, and it looks like they're gonna reach it this season. |

Yeah I liked Lexx as well. Wanted to throw up every time I saw Giggerota though. But having Zev, the lizard/love slave cross as a supporting character kinda makes up for it. |
