Has anyone played the Brutal Legend demo? I think it's really cool. I'll preorder it this week. |

Because when you try to market a brutal and bloody conflict to kids... You get shit like Republic Heroes. The Clone Wars could've been Star Wars' redeeming act....but no, they managed to fuck that up as well. Except for Karen Traviss' Republic Commando series. But yeah. |

Yeah I know - everytime I've flicked it on when it's on tv there's always some guy sacrificing himself for the greater good - no one died in cartoon's when I was a kid - it's a bit fucked up imo. But yeah thought the game would be Force Unleashed ++ but instead it's a watered down, barely 2.5 puzzle platformer with crappy AI team mates that run into walls/get stuck and respawn right beside you, enemies don't even try and just stand around waiting for you to kill them and shocking controls to top it off |

I have been playing the Uncharted 2 beta, very good, much to my surprise (I wasn't expecting much from the multiplayer). Also a bit of the Brutal Legend demo. |

yeah I like the variety of MP modes in the beta ... would be great to have some server lists with ping times for us Aussies ... better than it just sitting there for good minute or so while it's matching pings when it says there's 10000 players on line ... looking forward to the sp story tho |

Final Fantasy VII port on PS3. I shall forever cherish this 1.3GB beast of a game. Holy shit. 2 games on the PS3 simultaneously. I think I'm beyond sleeping with the enemy now. |

I played some Brutal Legend and GTA IV online. Full blown black guy Vs. white guy verbal war going on in GTA.

Eh, you'll be back denouncing the PS3 and loving your 360 soon enough. Though that actually suggests a good question. I'm sure that no-one here can answer it, but it's worth asking regardless. I know that the Command & Conquer games are up on PSN, but I wonder how they work. Like, do you need to download two seperate files, or just the one file? For something like FF7, it works to download the one file that patches together all three discs, but for something like C&C, where the campaigns are on two completely seperate discs...how it works, I'd love to know. And no, I'm not buying it not to see. |

FFVII is a straight out port. When the time comes, you have to press the PS button in order to access the option to 'switch disks'. It sorta works as a virtual drive. With C&C, I would have no clue. Wouldn't really care about it either. |
