Blazblue: Continuum Shift for me. Really bloody impressed. Story is nowhere near as confusing as in CT, packs a lot more in, includes all the extra stuff from the first game, and has a much better feature set than Super Streeties. Plus, they're aiming more for getting newcomers into the game, and that's a feat to be commended.

Story? STORY?! You're joking, right? It's a bloody fighting game! The game could be about earth's greatest warriors defending anal burgers and it would not matter.

You'd be surprised. Sure, it's not the best thing ever, but hey, at least someone's trying to tell a decent story.

OH MY FUCKING GOD MINECRAFT IS LIKE PURE CRACK!

Alpha is awesome so far if this ever gets onto a handheld I'd be in flaming zombie heaven. Haven't checked out the multiplayer yet - tempted to check out the crazy work their doing on gafland but I fear if I afk for a couple minutes I will get entombed in a giant penis ...

Yeah, I saw my cousin play a bit of that over the weekend. Looked pretty bloody fun.

Been playing a lot of Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles - the PSP remake of Dracula X/Rondo of Blood, the last 2D platformer-esque Castlevania game before the series transitioned into the Metroid style games. Pretty bloody great, and also has the original Rondo of Blood as an unlock, as well as the PS1 version of Symphony of the Night (which, if you don't know, is the sequel to Rondo).

I just unlocked SOTN, and was not only surprised that it WAS actually the PS1 version, but also that all the voices have been changed and the script retranslated. So no "What is a Man".

Halfbrick's latest, Monster Dash, on the iPhone OS. Sure, it's just a Cannabalt style game, but it's pretty bloody fun.

Modnation Racers. Pretty decent kart racer, and the creation stuff is insane. Well, the track modification stuff anyway. Everything else...well, need to unlock a few more things. Getting a real Trackmania vibe otherwise, which is a fantastic thing.

And yes, the loading times are fucking atrocious.

Just picked up TFU Ultimate Sith Etd from JB for $49 (normal etd was $79) - all the DLC is a second disc but unlike Fallout 3 GOTY is doesn't prompt you to install to your HDD to play, has to play off the disc.

Enjoyable game but it is a bit glitchy and it froze on me during the first level when I was destroying Tie Fighters with my Force Push

Been looking for that for ages. Can't find a fucking copy.

EDIT: And I found a 360 copy at JB Bourke Street.

Downloaded Dead Rising 2 Case Zero last night (400pts from XBLA).

Hack n Slash Zombie Killing Mayhem, I bought the Moose Head from the Pawn Shop and just ran around killing zombies. Combining items to make more powerful weapons is a great addition - using a Gas Cylinder the Box of Nails to create my own IED to hurl into a group of zombies and blow up with my pistol was a "blast".

On the downside, loading times are atrocious and the go here then return to safe house to rebuild the bike is repetitive and gets boring quickly. Having no sprint either pisses you off and you move quite slow already too.

Haven't played the first DR yet and have DR2 on preorder so can't wait now after playing this game.

Hah play the first one and you be used to the movement in no time.

Loading is a pain in the ass as well, but again, you get used to it in the first one.

The combo weapons are fucking awesome, this demo has made me reeeeeally want to get DR2 now..its just so fucking fun to play

Don't know if you'll be able to answer this JLC, but to anyone else who's played it, does Case Zero have the same save system as DR1?

Seems to save after you do a Case, or a significant event....but for the most part you save a toilets still.

Just like in Japan.

Tales of Vesperia

Goddamn, this has easily got to be my favourite HD JRPG. Fantastic combat, likeable characters - sure, the story isn't perfect and the music is kinda meh, but really enjoying it.

Played about half way through the main story of RE5 in co-op last night - quite enjoyable once you get going and learn the controls
