Well, it depends I suppose. If you don't want the game after it receives 7.5, you obviously didn't want it that badly to begin with. If I wanted the collector's edition of Heavy Rain (why do people pre-order standard editions of games that aren't 'huge'?), I would have still wanted it, even if it received a 30 on Metacritic.

Yeah thats pretty much.

I don't really pay attention to reviews of games I really want, and pre-order the sweet ass collectors editions :D

I still laugh when they say STRICTLY LIMITED! WILL RUN OUT SOON! then a week after release they have more of them *looks at Halo: Reach Legendary Edition*

Got into a bit of Dead Rising 2 over the weekend to get it out of my system before exam time and I'm digging that. I shall even more once I get into it some more.

Another will be Ninja Gaiden (the Xbox 'reboot', not the arcade titles), an awesome gift I got from one Mr. Ozzy. It still holds up gameplay-wise today after playing it 6 years ago. Like Onimusha on a Japanese roid rage. Used to be impossible when I was a child but as I've grown up with other adventure beat em ups, it's gotten a little easier over time. Not saying that it's a pushover, it's still very goddamn hard.

Yeah, that game has that rep. It's one of those things where you really need to learn how the game works, or else you're gonna get raped.

Also played a bit of Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions. Not too bad for the 30 minutes I played.

Also props to EA for not making MOH: Frontline a DLC code.

Yeah. It's a 6GB install, and you NEED to have the MOH disc in the PS3 to play it.

Been playing some Silent Hill 2 on PC. The control scheme lets it down but it actually works really well as a console port. Fantastic game anyway.

That's fair enough. 6GB install beats a 6GB download.

So I finally got around to playing some of the new Medal Of Honour, or Meh-dal of Honour or Beards of War, as I like to call it. It's really nothing special. I admire what they tried to do (to be a more authentic modern day war experience than, well, Modern Warfare), but it just comes across as being boring and ultimately very unexciting.

Fallout: New Vegas.

Game Of The Year. It makes Fallout 3 look pedestrain and simple, and I never encountered any glitches/bugs in the 5 hours I played it....which shows its the engine that is glitchy and shit and should never be used again, not Obsidians programming.

Fallout + id Tech will = Greatest Games Ever.

6 GB sounds a bit much for bloody Medal of Honor... I actually gave up on MOH after Rising Sun, and going by what everybody is saying, it seems that is the right thing to do. 6 GB for any game seems to be overkill...

Got my hands on Castlevania Lords of Shadow and I am digging it. I have heard criticism for the new Castlevania in that it is too derivative of other games, but in my opinion, aren't all games derivative of each other?
Anyhow, loving it, the combat is nice and satisfying, but I must agree with Jamie and many others when it comes to the soundtrack; even the PSP Castlevania had a more Castlevania feel than this one. It may be down to the fact that whats her name that did the other games had nothing to do with this one.
