Been playing Bayonetta again.....i used to think it was difficult on Normal....but now...not so much XD
Out of curiosity Cloney, were you much into the DMC games?

As for myself, I just started it - only on the end of Chapter II (just gotta fight that huge thing), but I'm really digging. Best thing they could've done was add the "verses", which not only borrows one of the best mechanics of Viewtiful Joe, but also a great way to divide up a chapter.
I played the DmC 4 demo on a disc once when I first got my box and it was pretty cool, other than that no.

I just like the Revelations connotations in it, and all the enemies are choirs of angels....its cool

Suffice to say, Normal difficulty doesnt seem as hard as it did when I first played....probably cos I've bought a bunch of shit from the Gates of Hell
What I am worried about with playing Bayonetta on Normal, is that I can't seem to save up enough halos to buy any of the really handy accessories. Is there a way to get heaps of halos without having to go back and replay old chapters? I've got most of the weapons, but I feel I need the accessories.

Blood Stone.

Sweeeeeet Game. Really does make you feel like Bond, and that you're in a Bond movie.

Ghost of Sparta on the PSP. A bit same ole, same ole, combat still the same though some wicked new finishing moves. Big bosses, huge scale, same old God of War really.

It must be said that Ghost of Sparta is the BEST LOOKING PSP title I have ever played. Seriously, the graphics are very good for the system, and I reckon that there will never be a better looking game for the PSP, ever.

Heard good things about Blood Stone. How long does the single player campaign go for, Cloney? I heard it's pretty short...

It is short, probably 5-7 hours depending on the difficulty. I knocked it over on Field Operative pretty quickly....I'd suggest playing it on either Field Operative or Agent to get the most fun out of it. 007 Difficulty just lowers your bullet resistance so you die in 1-2 shots.

But it feels like a Bond Movie, one of the Average - Good Roger Moore ones. But yeah, maybe just rent it if you're not one for multiple playthroughs.

Had a bit of a go at the MP in Black Ops last night...man I am so rusty at core mode as I only ever played Hardcore in MW2. Was a bullet magnet all night. Had a bit of trouble when we were in a party to all get in the same room, similar to issues in MW2 but there would have been a few million people on at once last night so it should improve. Sites this morning are reporting the infinite care package glitch has reared its ugly head again which is a pity as I was enjoying the matches last night.

Haven't tried any of the new MP modes yet - wager matches or combat training but will be getting around to them at some stage. Had a quick go of zombies, you can only play the Pentagon level if you have finished the SP campaign or the party leader has completed it and invites you in. Plays just the same as it did in WaW - ie boarding up the windows, buying guns off the wall, finding the box and getting a random weapon (the crossbow was the first thing that came up for me - tip, don't shot enemies close to you with it as the explosion takes you down too).

COD: Black Ops, Played a heap of mainly Team Deah Match last night the Maps are stunning and lots of them, the wepons are sexy, and custimisation is just the cherry ontop, getting alot of hit markers in core mode but harcore not too far away. There was some matchmakeing issues lastnight due to the massive amount of people trying to get on but don't expect that to continue once all sheep idots piss off.

AS usual there are reports of hackers and glitches but this just make me better at my game if I have to play against them which I have not. so meh.

IF you are a FPS fan or ever have been I highly recommend checking this out. Even if you are angry with the politics of the franchise COD 4 MW was good , mw2 was revision 2 for me and i'm finding Black Ops to be a big fuck you to Infinity Ward becase Treyarch have gone one better in my honest opinion

Black Ops is shaping to be great bang for your buck imo. Along with SP and MP you get;

Zombies - 2 maps with std game + 4 maps from WaW with hardened/prestige etds
Dead Ops Arcade - SP or up to 4 player co-op top down shooter like Smash TV/Zombie Apocalypse
Zork - Treyarch's first game - text based adventure

Along with the new MP gametypes, eg Wager Matches, I think Treyarch have put together a great game

I think that I will just hold onto my cash money until Gran Turismo 5 comes out; that's what I would call bang for your buck.

I been meaning to ask, has anybody here played MGS Peace Walker? I hear it's very good, but would like your opinion.

I've got it - it's really good. Quite a bit different to all the other Metal Gear games, but once you get used to how it plays, it's awesome.

Cool. Gonna have to pick it up. I need to still finish Portable Ops though... my list of unfinished games continues to grow.

I actually still need to pick that one up. Worth it?

If you are a fan of the series, for sure it's worth it. I had trouble finding Portable Ops in the shops, but eventually got it at Cash Converters, so your best bet would be ebay and the like. Portable Ops takes place after Snake Eater, and is focused on stealth gameplay, so if ya don't mind pure stealth games, highly recommended.
