I think that I will just hold onto my cash money until Gran Turismo 5 comes out; that's what I would call bang for your buck.

I been meaning to ask, has anybody here played MGS Peace Walker? I hear it's very good, but would like your opinion.
I've got it - it's really good. Quite a bit different to all the other Metal Gear games, but once you get used to how it plays, it's awesome.
Cool. Gonna have to pick it up. I need to still finish Portable Ops though... my list of unfinished games continues to grow.
I actually still need to pick that one up. Worth it?
If you are a fan of the series, for sure it's worth it. I had trouble finding Portable Ops in the shops, but eventually got it at Cash Converters, so your best bet would be ebay and the like. Portable Ops takes place after Snake Eater, and is focused on stealth gameplay, so if ya don't mind pure stealth games, highly recommended.
You'll love Peace Walker then. Like I said in my review of the game - the combat is the weakest part of the game, particularly when it forces it on you. It's much more fun to No Alert it.

In which episode did you review Peace Walker? I haven't seen (or heard) it, so would like to check it out.

I'll need to dig through the archives to find it Pabs, but once I do - I'll post a link.

Panzer Dragoon Orta, thanks to Ozzy.

Was fun for the three levels I played. Then the game crashed. Turns out that because of the shoddy Xbox emulation, it will ALWAYS crash after the cutscene following the third level. And it's unskippable to boot. Only way around it? Using the Level select cheat. Only have to clock up 20 hours of gameplay to do it.

FUN.

Just finished Bayonetta and am on my second playthrough. Serious contender for GOTY, mindblowing shit in that game.

Still playing Ghost of Sparta too, bloody awesome. PSP haters should check it out.

Need to get back into Bayonetta. Worst time to do so (since NFS is tomorrow!), but I endeavour to play more of it!

Also finished Black Ops. Ending's a bit too sudden for my liking, but otherwise, single player was fun. Probably the best SP since 4.

Still haven't began the SP in BOs yet, too busy in the MP. AK47 (with supressor) and Commando (ext mags) are my fav guns. Got my first "attack dogs" killstreak last night and they are fantastic - when they're yours.

Need for Speed and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

So far, so good. NFS is great since you can trash talk on the Wall when you beat people time's...adds that extra bit competition.

AC: Brotherhood is is basically AC 2.5....and that is a damn good thing. Rome is Massive, have to be nearly as big as 2 or 3 cities from the first game. Everything seems to be back, and I still haven't reached the meat of the game yet....I think its going to slot in the Top 5 of my GOTY.

A combination of GT5 and NBA Jam for me.

Kinda digging Jam. Never really got into it back in the day, but I'm slowly enjoying it...even if I suck at defense. Do love the announcing.

GT though? Not clicking with me for some reason. Granted, I've barely played much of it, but there already some odd game design choices that are kinda stupid. Otherwise, looks nice, and if you're really into the hardcore car stuff, there's nothing quite like it.

Metro 2033. Finished it the other night. Definitely added to my list of GOTYs (AKA most enjoyed games of 2010), along with Heavy Rain, Alan Wake and Yakuza 3.

Now I am back onto Lost Odyssey. Going to finish it. Also sneaking bits and pieces of Burnout Revenge too.

Not sure what my next game will be though. Crackdown, Dead Rising, Condemned, Bully... I've got a pretty big back catalogue.

Bully is the best of those, but Condemned was great as well.

Condemned was one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had.
