my chemical romance did music for them so it has to be good

This is how I determine the quality of anything
I can't think of a single thing that hasn't had MCR associated with it that was good. ever.

If it helps, the MCR song plays during the credits.

Thanks for that usefull pieace of info Darth i love the credits...because thats when everyone leaves the cinema and takes no notice of the song playing..haaaa..god i love that bit.

Aren't the credits for:
- Cutting off 3/4 the main theme song.
- Getting a voice over about what is airing next week.
- The movie image getting cut down to 1/8 of its proper size
- The imagery of next weeks movie playing in the other 7/8ths.
- Only to have it all return to normal just in time for you to miss the name of that actor you've been trying all movie to remember where you'd seen them before.

Oh wait! That's television... <_<

It's not just channel Ten. It's every commercial analogue channel. What's it like on digital?

Usually the same thing happens on Foxtel too.
Though it's better than the usual advertising crap, it's an interview with stars of the film or something similar.

I saw it today and it lived up to my expectations. It was a pretty straight forward adaption of the comic and it uses to good effect one of the few things that the film medium has that comics don't: sound. The song selection is great and the sound effects themselves add to the atmosphere (especially in regards to Osterman). The comic is so dense, and the narrative is not always linear, so converting it to a movie was always going to be difficult, and while a lot of stuff is included, I can't help but feel that the movie is a little like Watchmen Light. I think in the future, when I get a craving for some Watchmen, it's definitely going to be the comic that I take a hearty swig from and not the movie.

saw it today,
although i thought it was great and stayed true to the comic in alot of ways i feel there are somethings that were a bit different. the fight scenes were incredibly over the top and i think that made the idea that they werent just ordinary people. which detatched the viewer (who hadn't read the gn) from that theme. though this was done with reason and was still done effectively.
it was a great movie and rorschach was awesome (and very well cast)

I definitely agree with you there Axle. I thought Rorschach and Night Owl were both cast perfectly. From the trailer I thought that they had wussed out with Dreiberg by making him fit, but I think they got the physique spot on (as well as those great awkward moments).
