There alot of Blade Runner connections in BSG, for instance the guns they use are almost the same and the use of the word "skin-job" is also from there too.

Also, the end of each season leading into the start of the next season is always the best of the lot:

- Mini-series -> 33 -> Water
- Kobols last gleaming 1 & 2 -> Scattered -> Valley of Darkness
- Lay down your Burden 1 & 2 -> Exodus 1 & 2

1st and 2nd episode of season 2 are fantastic, story wise and visual-effect wise. Actually looking at, I probably just wrote down my favourite top 10 episdodes above! Maybe CT's as well. ;)

So that's Season 2 done. Loved it more than S1, with some great arcs that could've gone just a little bit longer for my liking.

Had just put in the first disc of Season 3 when I read the first page and was recommended to watch Razor before I watch the season proper. Any particular reason why I should watch Razor now and not after I finish Season 3? Does it tie more into Season 2 or something?

It deals with Lee's first mission as Commander of the Pegasus....and goes into the Pegasus backstory.

Better off watching it now

Yeah, good point. Will watch Razor first.

Me too Sef. He signed my Old Cylon tin/boxed set. I watched it when I was younger too. Good to watch. Makes you go "Ah, that's from the original" as you watch the new series a lot.

Made me go 'What's this crap?', although I wish I had 'Muffit', or the monkey in it!

Knowing you, you were probably watching it when it originally aired! Or relative to it anyway....
...
Yes, I just called you old.

Anyway, just got done with Season 3. Didn't dig as much as Season 2, but was still quite enjoyable nonetheless. Finale was fucking rad, and knowing that, I have a feeling Season 4 will disappoint somewhat. Especially since fucking NineMSN ruined the ending of the show, so I at least understand why people were pissed at it. Though I'm sure the journey is better than the destination, no?

At least Season 3 was made more bearable by skipping one episode that people universally don't like, so that was kinda neat. Though while we're on the topic of the show: The Plan - is it worth watching, or can I go without it?

Plan left a bad taste in my mouth.

Would've been better if Xena was in it

You've already seen it. It's just a collage of footage from seasons 1 and 2 from the point of view of the Cylons.

Just finished watching the last episode now. Took the better part of a year, but did enjoy the ride.

Even if those last few minutes I could've really done without.

It's not BSG related, but tell me this would have been perfect for the show:
