Fitness Lesson #1
Basic Information:
  • Catagory: Fitness/Training
  • Affects: Strength, Endurance, Memory, Force
  • Required Room: Training Room
  • Required Attire: Under-tunic and Trousers; no Robes
  • Required Equipment: Boulders. One per student
  • Ranking: Initiate - Master
  • Number of Participants: Any
  • Running Time: Varies

The Run-Down:
  • To begin with, have the class assemble across from you in a training room. Make sure they are lined up on the longer wall, as opposed to the shorter, due to the typical size of such a class. Have them remove their outer robings so that only their under-tunic and trousers remain to allow for flexibility and maneuverability.
  • Next you should have them begin by running laps of the room. This can vary depending on the instructor, but three laps should do the trick.
[2 lines per wall, 4 words per line; although this can be adjusted.]
  • While they are busy running laps you should bring forth a boulder per student and place them at the centre of the room, away from where they are running.
  • When they have finished jogging around the room have them lift the boulder without their hands. The typical response for this is use of the Force, and it increases their imagination in the process. They need to have the boulder touch the ceiling before they can lower it again.
[If the boulder is dropped instead of placed down make them redo this; the boulder and the flooring is just as important as they are.]
  • Next you have them lift the boulder with their hands, and get used to the weight of it. This time they do not have to lift it to the ceiling.
  • When they feel comfortable with the weight of it, have them begin to walk around the training complex with the boulder in their arms.
  • Again, after they judge themselves comfortable with this, have them break into a slow jog.
  • Next they should sprint, once they are comfortable with the weight while jogging. Make sure they are careful when they do this, we don't want any broken bones.
  • Finally, have them continue their sprinting but at the same time they should recite -???- in order too get their minds working.
  • Once they have finished -???- they should gently lower the boulder down and warm down from their exercise. Then they may leave.
[Again, if they drop the boulder instead of placing it down they should redo it.]
  • The Jedi has successfully worked on the following: Strength, Endurance, Force and Memory.
  • This will help with the following: Fieldwork (aka missions, fights, etc), the ability to recall vital information when under intense pressure or when burdened.
  • It also helps with: Self-Discipline and general fitness.
